WOW! Thank you Pedro and Amy at Computer World! I am so thankful I did not waste the time and money to ship my laptop back to ASUS for repair before asking you guys! I had made the mistake of attempting to replace the battery on a high end ASUS laptop used for video editing. I tried following a YouTube video through the disassembly and reassembly process, but by the time I put the whole thing back together (a very complicated procedure), the new battery was not charging and there was a static coming from the speakers, but no sound. I was so disappointed after spending several hours on it. I didn’t have the heart to open it back up and go through it all again. Suddenly I remembered Computer World and hoped they could work on it without me having to send it back to ASUS. In only a few short days from drop off, Pedro got me all fixed up again and the laptop was back alive like new. Equally impressive was the very fair price he charged me to repair it! There are not enough stars here to say what this service meant to me. My computer used in my business crashed last Thursday evening, and when my online service backup could not restore, I looked for someone that might be able to retrieve the data. Feel very fortunate to have found Computer World and Pedro. He worked almost all afternoon Friday retrieving the data and late into the evening setting up a desk top and laptop - which I was able to purchase from him - after the retailer I normally used had no desk top at any of their stores - and also no one with anywhere near the expertise of Pedro to advise me. I have already recommended them and will continue to do so. The service was outstanding from the initial phone call. OUTSTANDING SERVICE, RESPONSIVENESS AND GREAT PRICING! Don’t let the seemingly humble appearance from outside distract you from getting some of the finest computer services available in the region. It’s really conveniently located at Weatherly and The South Parkway without parking hassles. The staff, led by Mr. Reyes is first-rate, personable, reliable and most of all responsive to just about any problems that come their way whether desk top or lap top, whether networking or upgrading, they do it all. There’s no calling ahead for an appointment just to wait for impersonal, immature and only marginally competent service. When they say something will be ready, it is – and I don’t mean days and weeks, but hours in most cases that we’ve dealt with them over the past few years.
