Sunshine Studio — Local services in Huntsville

I adore this little spot! Situated in the same shopping center as Das Stahl and Bigfoot's Little Donuts, with an additional smaller studio at Lowe Mill, Sunshine Studio would be a wonderful place to get a gift for yourself or a friend.

They have a lot of different products available for purchase: earrings, necklaces, rings, bookmarks, stickers, tote bags, hair clips, small bags, and cute graphic tee shirts all come to mind. Much of the stuff is super brightly colored or funky and fun in appearance and style; it really is SUNSHINE studio. Other items express fandom for many popular musical artists like Chappell Roan or Taylor Swift; or a love for nature and all things woodsy; or some items even bring a fun and witchy/spooky flair. The walls are bright pink and orange and the staff and owner are all similarly cheerful, vibrant, warm, and encouraging.

Another thing I love about this woman-owned space is that it is openly and sincerely welcoming and inclusive. It's easy to spot products reaffirming love and respect for women and the LGBTQ community. It is so nice (and unfortunately too uncommon) to be in a space that feels that way. :)

They are also doing smaller scale crafting events that are a whole lot of fun! My in-laws and I had a girls' night out a few weeks ago where we made our own tote bags. The studio provided the bags and a large number of fun images that were heat-pressed into the bag, creating a super fun souvenir and a lovely night together. They provided light snacks and of course the stuff needed to make the craft. Other upcoming classes include cake decorating and necklace and earring design.

An item I bought from them right before moving cross-country broke during the moving process (totally not a fault on the quality just inevitable risks of moving), and I had ordered a new one online to replace it but the owner reached out to me to let me know that it was out of stock. She was really accommodating with offering other options but I explained that that one was sentimental to me because I had gotten it with loved ones. This shop is truly a gem in Huntsville! Found a cute set of teeth earrings to wear to my work as a dental hygienist! This shop was so kind and accommodating. I have a friend who lost a friend this past week to suicide and we had planned to run a local 10k and she is running it in her friend’s honor. I wanted to give her something to wear during the race to think of him. I called the shop on a Friday morning, the owner was so sweet and had this custom friendship bracelet made for me to pic up the same afternoon.
