Basic American Foods — Local services in Idaho Falls

Not a real good experience here. I had a 3pm appointment and called ahead of time to see if they would work me in. (If not, there is a Loves 2 miles away I could just stay at until my appt time.) I was told that I was welcome to come early, and they would work me in as they could. FIVE HOURS LATER I am finally loaded. They didn't even begin until after my appointment time, and I wasn't loaded until an hour and a half past. Instead of spending 5 hours in a parking lot with no running water, no bathrooms for drivers other than a nasty portolet, I could have spent the time at the Loves down the street and had a shower, washed my hands and had lunch. The lady was nice and all, but don't tell me I can go in early and when I get there say "We're running behind loading trucks, they keep pushing you back." Ok, why not TELL ME THAT ON THE PHONE BEFORE I ARRIVE? Now I had to call my dispatcher and tell him I won't be able to make the delivery time because they held me so long at the shipper. Great. This was the load to try to get me...

Second time here to pick up a load! First time, a week ago, I've spent 5h waiting to get loaded, even if my broker told me that the load is ready! I've arrived on time and my load was not ready at all. And because they changed some computer system inside the company, they blamed that new system for the load not being ready. Once they started loading me, the process was veeeeery slow. Now, today, i've hoped they fixed the problems with the new system and everything it's going to be ok.... But NO! Same story. My dispatch said the load is ready to be loaded and waiting for me! Arrived here at 11:10 and I found out the load is not even stacked and will take like 3h to get it ready! After 3h they gave me a dock and was told to wait by the door cause somebody will come to help me!!! 50min later still waiting by my door in the warehouse for someday to come... I've asked 2 time and was told to wait... And still waiting!

So far had to check in at front desk, gave my load number, then instructed to check in with dock supervisor, gave him the magical number. He instructed me to back into a door between 1-4. Then come back in with that number. So went out opened doors backed in door 3. Came back in and now have to check in with a loader driver with my magic number.. Was told to wait by my door and someone “might” get to me before they go to lunch.. that was 20 minutes ago and haven’t seen anyone so guess I’m supposed to stand here until they can get to me.. Only reason so far I rated a 2nd star is at least I’m in a door and not waiting across the parking lot. I did show up on time for my appointment which is probably the reason that happened.. Also be prepared to throw your own pallets if you want to get out of here quickly. Girl at the front...
