I have to admit, it feels a bit strange walking into this place for the first time ever! I dont know how they work and the restaurant and market combo threw me for a twist. Right as you enter, there's the menu above you to order from, and the left side is the store, but you can go down a little hall in the front to the right to a seating area to eat.
I ordered a couple different kinds of tacos, expecting these to be like small street tacos, which they were, but... They were so loaded and delicious i couldnt finish them, which shocked me! They are great!

You have to turn around and pay the market cashier. The menu should be more of a contrasting color, that would help newbies like me!

Aside from service being slow, there's no indication that you have to order at the counter then select your drink from the grocery section to pay for everything on the way out. That would have helped the disorder of people waiting for food vs waiting to order. If they can fix this, 5 star is a no-brainer. I'll be back for sure when I'm in Independence. Check them out and support local biz. They also carry a lot of...
