A Cozy Haven for Festive Gatherings: A Review of the Charming Coffee/Brew House

Rating: ★★★★☆

Nestled within the heart of the city, this coffee/brew house is a hidden gem that effortlessly combines the warmth of old brick walls with the enchantment of Christmas holiday decor. Stepping inside feels like entering a time capsule, where vintage touches and a cozy ambiance create the perfect spot for catching up with friends.

The moment you walk through the door, you are greeted by the delightful aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the comforting sight of twinkling lights adorning the rustic brick walls with the attention to detail transporting you to a winter wonderland.

One of the highlights of this coffee/brew house is undoubtedly their hot cider drinks. Served in charming vintage mugs, these delightful concoctions are the perfect remedy for chilly winter days. The rich aroma of cinnamon and cloves wafts through the air as you take your first sip, instantly warming your hands and heart. Whether you opt for a classic spiced cider or indulge in a creative twist like caramel apple cider, each sip is a comforting embrace that leaves you craving for more. While the coffee/brew house excels in creating a cozy atmosphere, it is worth noting that the menu is somewhat limited. However, the quality of the beverages and the inviting ambiance more than make up for this minor drawback. In conclusion, this coffee/brew house with its old brick walls, Christmas holiday decor, and vintage touches is a haven for those seeking a warm and inviting spot to catch up with friends. The hot cider drinks are a delightful treat that will warm both your hands and heart, making it the perfect destination for a cozy winter gathering. So, grab a friend, find a comfortable seat, and let the magic of this charming establishment envelop you in its...

The Brew proved to be a disheartening customer service experience and am hoping to see my full refund. I even tried to reach out to management without a return call this morning. Please do not expect to be treated with any haste or courtesy here. It may indeed be a great place to work though as employees are not seemingly tasked with customer service solutions, stocking products or to act with any expedition…. A lovely location and great view though. But kindness or customer experience ….. not present. However, Humiliated customers and no staff accountability, we’re prevalent. A really terrible experience that had me upset all morning at how I was treated- thinking some poor local business owner is unaware. But it may just be their customer service model here and that’s really unfortunate for...

Pretty disappointed with my recent experiences at Brew. I will admit they have a small but decent selection of some local beers and ciders, but the mixed drinks are absolutely lackluster. Last time we went in the employee could not find the simple syrup, twenty minutes later he still had not come out for a simple apology or explanation as to my wife’s lack of a drink. Today, I had a Bloody Mary and it was probably the worst drink I can think of having paid nearly $7 for ever. The employee is nice, and the business is cute, but the patio DOES NOT look over anything except a gravel parking lot, the Willamette River is barely visible in the background except at winter’s flood stage. And roughly 20 tater tots for $6? Whoever owns this place should get with the program or sell it to...

In short, decent food, definitely overpriced but not by much, good atmosphere. It's probably one of the best places in town, considering the size of the town. I don't know who copied who, but the logo is literally the same as Bend, Oregon's logo. Just saying. Service here was friendly. I stayed for a long time in the early to mid afternoon working on my laptop, and only 3 or 4 other people came in, so it's not very busy I'm the middle of the day. The decor is classic rustic hipster taphouse, not bad. There is a nice wall of windows that give a lot of great natural light, and the location is close to the riverfront park.

Server/food prep worker didn’t wear a mask - she states her boss doesn’t either - despite that there is signage near the front door with the Oregon State Mandate. She started to share with me the efficacy of mask wearing and social distancing. I paid for my food but left it - I’m surprised that a business would practice recklessness in a pandemic in a county with growing infection rates. Cute holiday decorations?
