Brook’s & Terry’s Espresso — Restaurant in Independence

For most of the 30 years I've lived in the Independence area, Brooks & Terry's has been a staple of our community. With well placed locations throughout town and high quality coffee, I have never regretted visiting this establishment.

I took the time to write this review today because I needed to take a moment to thank the person working the shop off main (I believe it is the owner, but I'm not certain). I've only gone there a few dozen times over the last few decades so I am fairly certain he doesn't remember me, yet despite that he has always been friendly, fast, well priced, and had all around exceptional service. There are two specific times that come to mind in which he has gone above and beyond what anyone would expect for a coffee shop on my behalf, and I don't feel a simple thank you at the window is enough to express my gratitude. A generous, big hearted, hard working individual who makes the best drinks in town deserves so much more.

Unfortunately, I cant offer any more than a simple review to express my thanks, and to tell the public that this guy is one of those 1 in a million individuals, the kind a town should rally behind if he ever needed help. A truly good human being. I hope his business continues to thrive, and I hope that anyone reading this will take the time to go see who the true king of coffee is in the Monmouth/Independence area. The drinks are fantastic, reasonably priced, and above all that you're supporting something good by buying there....
