ONE STAR BECAUSE I CAN'T GIVE ZERO STARS!!! I ordered a Money Tree plant to be delivered to my Aunt on her birthday which was on a Monday. When I placed the order, the checkout page included a provision that stated I was agreeing to allow them to substitute something of comparable value in the event that the item I requested was unavailable. Twig's contacted me via email on the Saturday before my requested delivery date to say their supplier did not have a Money Tree available and asking me to call or email them to discuss what would suffice as a substitute. I called, no answer, no answering machine, so no way to leave a message. I emailed them back (on the same day they emailed me) with a request to send a fruit basket of equal value and to update the message I had asked to be included on the card. They are closed on Sundays, so I also asked that they email me back to confirm that something was actually delivered on the date requested. It has now been two weeks, and I have not received an email response or follow up phone call, and my aunt did not get anything delivered to her. I would strongly recommend using someone else for your floral/gift...

I ordered 18 roses to be delivered to my wife on a Monday but due to inclement weather, the flowers were not able to be delivered on the desired date. I called the following day and ask to cancel my order, which was done trouble free. The person on the phone was very polite and apologetic for the situation but truly, they had no control over mother nature. Well, low and behold, later on the same day that I cancelled... my wife received the bouquet, initially intended for for her on Monday, with a very nice card stating they were sorry they couldn't deliver on Monday and this was a complimentary bouquet wishing her the very Best ! With customer service like this.. Twig's will always get my business !!!...

My friend and I were shopping in downtown Independence, KS, on a warm day. We saw a sign for "Gelato" and stopped in for a scoop. What a treat! The proprietor was more than friendly, and answered all our many questions about the several varieties she offered. She even gave us free tastings to help us decide! The gelato was SO delicious! It comes in reusable cups, so is very environmentally friendly, and is quite reasonably priced. The shop has a variety of floral arrangements and gifts, of course, as well as the gelato.
