Independence Cinemas — Local services in Independence

Went to see Wicked on its opening night. Movie was great but the the theater had sound issues which ruined it. It's supposed to be a musical so theater sound is nessessary and expected. I noticed they were having sound issues from the beginning previews. When the movie started it sounded like I was watching it from the other room on my TV with out a sound bar. Only in the last few minutes of the movie did we actually have theater sound. I was very disappointed. Didn't make paying for the movie in a theater worth it. I really want to give more stars to support the local movie theater, but there are some things that need to be brought to attention, the smaller theater, the screen has about a 3” hole in it, the speakers crackle terribly under heavy bass, and the projector has a blur in the middle of it. This theater is decent i understand as a local theater some prices got to be up I guess but for the price they charge I expect the screen not to be blurry I expect the speakers to work like I went to go watch the fantastic 4 and Superman here and I had the worst experience I couldn’t even see half the time as a marvel dc fan I want to see every detail yall need to do better and invest into better screens...
