Family Dollar — Local services in Indianapolis

Didn’t even want to give a one star review cause it doesn’t even deserve that. It says online that the store opens at 8. But according to the recording when you call the store doesn’t open until 9. The only reason that I have even went to this store is because it’s not far from where I live. I don’t have a vehicle or anyone to take me anywhere. So I either take the city bus or walk everywhere. Went there on March 26, 2024 to get some sugar and a little bit of food since I had absolutely nothing to eat where I live. But the machine wasn’t working to where I could use my ebt card. Also was going to get an overpriced sheet set cause I needed that as well. But walked out of the store with nothing. So I have said nicely for them to double bag my stuff and they hardly ever do that. I have to ask for my receipt every time cause they never voluntarily give it to me. Definitely won’t be going back to this...

The acting manager on duty at 2:pm on 2/24/16 is predjedist. Anothe woman of color verbaly attacted me in the store. After i said excuse me ahe went off..callin me white trailer trash . threatening violence on me. . in front of all customers and the cashier. She was screaming and calling me names. .And your manager dis nothing but laugh.. And to top it off..your manager went to the aggressor asking "you okay boo" what happen" and laughed with her.never once asked me if i was ok or what happened. Because im white. The manager was on her phone talikng to her friends the whole time..she always is on the phone. She cared less that the woman was attacking me. Im not predjedist at all and it sickens me. I have a son in law of color and a grandchild mixed with love. .i come in this store atleast 4 times a week. Something needs done about the "acting manager" ASAP. IM NOT STOPING IM GONNA REPORT THIS EVERY...

Around 8 last night 5/20/16, the lady who was my cashier was very very rude! As I'm putting my things on the counter she puts her head phones in and calls someone-not business related- ! You could tell cuz she proceeded to say "You off da phone wit ya boyfriend now?" " Ok girl well you know how I told you I was ...." ! Needless to say no need repeating the rest of her convo, you can tell its not about Family Dollar! And she never said a word to me except my total! Piss poor customer service and...
