Pupuseria La Salvadoreña — Restaurant in Indianapolis

FYI, this place is cash only right now. They do cashapp and have an ATM inside tho... Been waiting for this place to open for a bit. First time here and had a pleasant experience. Most of the staff doesn't speak English. Point and grunt at menu pics did just fine. Turns out one of them knew enough English to get our stuff ordered. I ordered what, to me, was a whole skirt steak with rice and beans. I ordered the small and I walked out with a whole skirt steak. Makes me wonder how much meat you get if you order the large...? Wife and I ordered fries and we got a buckets worth (and, dayum, they were good!) It was a bit pricey ($40 for both) bit I think it was worth it. Steak was done to my liking although I do believe as an Argentinian dish, it should've had more sear and char. Beans had a very fresh taste, I don't think they started out dried which was interesting. I'm not complaining, it was full of yum. Wife took the safe route and had a burger which looked good. There's seating inside but we got ours to go since we live right around the corner. The menu online seems limited compared to the banners they have outside the place. Didn't ask about that or if they're working on building on to what they currently offer. Nice little place and looks they're still getting settled in so I hope they're around for a while.
