Store rating is a 4. Pharmacy rating is a 1. In store I am always greeted and treated with respect. Cashiers are friendly and always willing to help. Pharmacy is THE worst pharmacy I have ever used. Got a call a few months back my son's prescription was ready. Go to the drive thru, wait 45 minutes and the rude lady at the window tells me it isn't ready and to pull at the end of the line and wait again. I ask why I got a text, email, and call it was ready, and she tells me it's not her problem and they are 600 prescriptions behind and walks away. The next time I go, I wait about 30 minutes and as I pull up to the window, the lady looks at me and closes the window for the lunch break, 10 minutes early and says nothing to me. So, 3 weeks ago my son's refill was due. I go in to pick a prescription up, thinking this was the one he NEEDS. It was another one he no longer takes. I ask about the one he needs and I am told they are outta stock and will order more and will be in within a few days. I kept getting update emails with a new date every time. I call and no one answers. Last week I was told it would be ready yesterday. I wake to an email telling me not til Friday. I call them when they open and ask why it has taken 3 weeks and my son still hasn't got a refill. The guy on the phone tells me the shipment should be there today and his prescription would be ready in a few hours. I hang up, within seconds I got a text his prescription is ready. We wait about half an hour in line and could not believe how the elderly man in front of us was treated, because he too had been waiting weeks for his prescription. We are looking into how to transfer pharmacies, cause this is ridiculous when it comes to people's health and well being. If the staff wasn't lazy and rude, they may be able to keep up with running the pharmacy and making sure they keep meds in stock and patients up to date with meds they are suppose to take daily...not when the pharmacy gets around to...
Read moreThis store charged me $66.39 for a prescription that I paid cash for and told me the other one would cost $50+, but they didn't have that one in stock, so I took it to CVS across the street and was charged $27.99. The price difference was so huge that I thought CVS gave me the wrong medicine. After verifying it was correct, I called 2 other CVS's to find out how much I would have been charged for the one I paid $66 for at this Walgreen's. One CVS said it would be $21.49 because he automatically applied a Good RX discount since I was paying out of pocket. The other CVS quoted me a price of a staggering $15.69 with something called Script Save. A difference of $50.70! I called this Walgreen's store again to request a cash pay discount and was informed they would only reprocess it with a coupon number, which CVS neither had, nor required. Whether you have insurance or not, have your prescriptions filled at CVS. They may be less expensive than your insurance co-pay. Don't give your money away to Walgreen's who refuses to offer any discount without a coupon. CVS offers discounts out of courtesy to patients, something Walgreen's is sorely lacking. Needless to say, this was the first and last time I will have a prescription filled at any Walgreen's. I was a loyal CVS customer before and will certainly be again after this unfortunate and...

my nomination of Worst Pharmacy in the city of indianapolis. You will never be able to get through to the pharmacist or pharmacy staff. You’ll be on hold for (27 minutes and 43 seconds this go around) with no answers to why your prescription is now 3 days late and still “in progress.”
Need lifesaving medication? You’ll die before you get it filled here.
Need your fertility medications filled within your window so you don’t miss your next cycle window? Sike - you’re going to have to wait till next month. I literally had to shed tears and cause a scene to get my FERTILITY MEDICATION taken care of after it was LATE and I needed to start this round of meds.
The drive thru is NEVER OPEN, so you will have to go inside the store every time where you will then wait an extended period of time for medications that were supposed to be done, but aren’t actually ready. Then you’ll asked to wait 30 minutes for them - despite your app and the auto calls indicating they are ready.
It’s absolutely incomprehensible how the same issues happen every time. We’re all understaffed, we’re all busy, so let’s work on figuring out how to eliminate all the operational problems that make this...
