Great prices they dont have. In store baked bread at Wal Mart 1.00 each (no card needed) Food Lion 2.00 each or 2 for 3.00 with card... wheres the savings? Wal Mart Great Value cream cheese, 2 pack of 8oz for 1.62, Wal Mart Great Value provolone cheese 3.33 Endless rip off by "trusted Food Lion" come on people do the homework, Food Lion is legally stealing from you. Anyone who posts great, reasonable ,livable prices is being paid by Food Lion to say so. Food Lion holds a monopoly in Inwood (it is the only grocery store here) and holds its consumers hostage to pay what they want you to pay for convenience sake.Just call it the way I see it.. no BS no pay from the source. Why are Food Lions prices so high in this store? Is it because Food Lion holds a monopoly here ( Inwood WV 25428) or is it because you just want to see what the traffic will bear? 'Fresh and Affordable", '"Extra Low" or "Super Low" prices? Slogans you should be ashamed of and are simply made to draw in unsuspecting consumers. I’m anger after leaving there. Tried using my flex spending card, checked all my items were eligible, checked the website to ensure food Lion accepted this payment. All seemed well. Had issues with the card only taking partial payment. Tried canceling since I was having issues. They refused to cancel my order or split it where I could take some of the items that were covered. The girl kept looking at me saying “there’s nothing I can do”. Multiple associates formed and Just staring at the screen, then me, then the screen and So forth. None spoke up. Just a crowd of silence. I got no items, no refund, nothing. Just kept the partial payment that went through. I’m angry. I know it was possible to cancel. Why didn’t anyone get a manager? Why didn’t anyone ask for help? How did the girl in customer service have no idea what to do and why did they all gather to watch in silence? Someone needs to train these employee’s and...

Inwood, WV FoodLion: Checkout clerk (the one in the middle where the managers come to helpout when they're busy) was NOT very friendly at all and (being that I use a cane) most PEOPLE are very friendly and make offers to hold a door open for me or offer to help in some way which I appreciate and ALWAYS ask if I can help ANYONE - especially people who are even worse off in health than I am myself. This clerk was NOT helpful at all and actually seemed to be VERY aggravated that I was taking so long to try to pay for my items AND try to put my own groceries from the counter into the cart plus try to get out of the way for the next person. With the ice and cold today, I couldn't help taking longer even though I was trying to hurry and I actually would've APPRECIATED at LEAST an offer of help today (which I usually thank people but decline because I TRY to keep as independent as I can be when I CAN do things...
