Read moreI’m anger after leaving there. Tried using my flex spending card, checked all my items were eligible, checked the website to ensure food Lion accepted this payment. All seemed well. Had issues with the card only taking partial payment. Tried canceling since I was having issues. They refused to cancel my order or split it where I could take some of the items that were covered. The girl kept looking at me saying “there’s nothing I can do”. Multiple associates formed and Just staring at the screen, then me, then the screen and So forth. None spoke up. Just a crowd of silence. I got no items, no refund, nothing. Just kept the partial payment that went through. I’m angry. I know it was possible to cancel. Why didn’t anyone get a manager? Read moreInwood, WV FoodLion: Checkout clerk (the one in the middle where the managers come to helpout when they're busy) was NOT very friendly at all and (being that I use a cane) most PEOPLE are very friendly and make offers to hold a door open for me or offer to help in some way which I appreciate and ALWAYS ask if I can help ANYONE - especially people who are even worse off in health than I am myself. This clerk was NOT helpful at all and actually seemed to be VERY aggravated that I was taking so long to try to pay for my items AND try to put my own groceries from the counter into the cart plus try to get out of the way for the next person. With the ice and cold today, I couldn't help taking longer even though I was trying to hurry and I actually would've APPRECIATED at LEAST an offer of help today (which I usually thank people but decline because I TRY to keep as independent as I can be when I CAN do things...
