Russell Stover Chocolates — Local services in Iola

Used to love Whitman and Russell Stovers but I think that’s about done now! Been waiting since January 5th for a “Gift certificate” in the mail so I can get something that’s actually worth eating not a faulty package! Literally purchased the Whitmans assorted sampler big box and all the chocolates were off the bottoms of all the crèmes were hollow or pushed in. I had one tray that had peanuts and then one that had 2 chocolate covered peanuts in it! All I want is what I paid for. I’ve let it go and it’s been 3 months now and you always say the same thing…”we have to wait for our gift certificates to come in the mail which takes 4-6 weeks” it’s been 3 months come on if you don’t want to mail me the gift certificate then stop saying that stop sending the same message, I can clearly tell by the emails it’s not a big deal to you guys but I can’t work I’m disabled and have cancer so what money I spend is tight and I was having a bad day and decided I’d buy myself some chocolate, just to be more upset that I spent $$ on faulty chocolate! Now I’m done being a karen that’s just crazy it takes a company this long and I’m sorry I don’t believe it. You went from a 5 star to a 1...

Got here at 1424, load was not even started, i was informed by an employee i could stay in the lot overnight and she would have the loaders move my trl to a spot where i could call security in the morning to unlock the gate so i could leave. I got up at 0300 am to get my trl, found it is still in docking with red lock srill on it, i called security, she said there was nothing she could do until someone comes in at 0700 am, very poor management and communication here, would not recommend listening to any advice they have to offer drivers, they will lie straight...

Arrived 0530 Checked-in at 0730 empty in 35 mins. Shipping in front. Receiving to the back. If you need to use the bathroom, they do let you use it. The kids that work there are great. This is about as easy as it can get.

3/14/25 update: New front gate with intercom at entrance. They don't start until 7AM. Arrived at 0430AM and stayed on the street until they opened. Needed the order # to be let in. Trucks behind me was let in without having to use intercom. Appointment time was for 9AM and got in a door immediately after...
