Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Iola

It has been awhile since I have dined in here and I am reminded of why. The floors are filthy, the food is ok and way overpriced. Couldn't believe that I was paying $13.50 for a large thin half pepperoni half cheese pizza. The wait was not long but literally two minutes into having our food the waitress brings me the check and a box and said "I figure it is about that time" as she put the box on our table!! We literally didn't even get half way into our first slice before I felt like we were being rushed out. She begins to box up the pizza and I let her know that my boys were still eating. She stated that "they can eat out of this" and continued to box up our pizza! My oldest son has feeding issues due to his special needs. Because of this he was afraid that the waitress was taking his pizza and refused to eat. He wanted to quickly go home because of fear that she was taking our food. While sitting at out table eating out of a box I put my debt card in the bill book. When the waitress finally came back by she asked if we needed anything. I told her no thank you and that I had my card in the book for her she stated "you have to come to the register so you can sign"!!! I've never not had a waitress not swipe my card and come back with a pen and receipt to be signed! Ugh! I am here by myself with my two boys, standing at the front desk waiting for someone to help me while they are antsy and ready to leave is not ideal, but apparently this is the only way to pay your bill at...

We ordered Pizza by phone and were told what time to pick up. We arrived at the drive thru window at the stated time. We were told to pull forward and wait. We had small grandkids, it was over 90 degrees out - and no shade. After 15 minutes, we went inside to get our money back. We ordered from the PIzza Hut in Chanute and that order was ready at the appointed time.

After complaining on-line, the manager of the Iola Pizza Hut called and said he would mail coupons for free pizza. A month later, have not received them. The Iola Pizza Hut has very slow service. We've gone there to eat and waited and waited for service/pizza. This wasn't the first time the carry out wasn't done on time. They were actually over an hour late on an order about 2 years ago. There is a new pizza place in Iola. Do yourself a favor and go there. This is the most frustrating places we've ever tried to eat at or pick up an order from. The rating should be zero stars. The manager doesn't follow through, so one cannot expect the staff to...

I visited on October 22nd 2025. This Pizza Hut is very similar to the one in Coffeyville, KS. Andy was our server and he was absolutely awesome. The manager Gary Young was also awesome too! This was my second time visiting this Pizza Hut! They were nice when I first visited the first time I went on March 14th 2016 and I am glad that still holds up today! This Pizza Hut definitely does not dissapoint! This is the only place I would eat at whenever I come up to Iola and I would not go anywhere else in town! The food is good as always just like the other Pizza Huts in Kansas. I even prefer this one over the one in Chanute! I highly recommend...
