Horrible customer service. My grandma accidentally broke a $1.75 glass cup with her walker (she was walking too close to the shelves), the store employee came over and the first thing she said was you gotta pay for this. We said we were sorry and we'll be happy to pay. The employee told us we gotta pay 3 or 4 times. Since we were not done shopping, the employee took the broken cup to the cash register and told us to pay once we were done shopping. All good and fine, we were a little annoyed but thought we resolved this whole thing.
And then the employee called over her manager, and her manager also told us we gotta pay and asked us to leave our credit card with them. At this point, we're like what in the world is this, for a $1.75 cup you want us to leave our credit card with you, no way. We said we're not gonna give our credit card, you can give us the broken cup and we'll take it to the cash register ourselves. And the manager was like oh no we can't do that, it's dangerous blah blah blah. But we were firm on this, either give us the cup or you can leave it at the cash register, we're not giving you our credit card. So they found a box and we kept the cup with us until we went to pay. The manager was watching us like a hawk and told all the employees at the cash register to watch us. All this over a $1.75 cup.
I love daiso products, but this experience makes me never want to...
Read moreIt's worth checking out if you think there's anything you need. But remember, there's no refunds once ypu purchase an item.
It's a good large-sized Daiso, but not as big and not as packed with a variety of items like Japan's Daiso. But, they have almost everything at $1.50. You definitely get what you pay for, but you can get really helpful items like towels, silverware, chopsticks, bowls, plates and other kitchen/dining tools for a good cheap price. Because of that, I think it's great for college students who are dorming. They have pretty good quick ramen bowls, but not the biggest variety of japanese candy and snacks as I had hoped. They have a lot of helpful house tools for good prices, and there is also a whole aisle dedicated to make-up. My only critique is that the customer service could have been a little bit better, the job isn't hard, so a friendly, "thank you, and have a nice day," shouldnt be too...

Whether you're hunting for DIY project supplies or adorable stationery, Daiso never disappoints. Their stickers and washi tape section is a dream—perfect for decorating everything from journals to phone cases. Recently, I was looking for an iPod Classic case, and honestly, I wasn’t feeling very hopeful about finding one. But then I stumbled upon a little keychain meant for holding tiny photos, and to my surprise, my iPod fit perfectly! With a few tweaks at home—cutting holes for the buttons and adding their Sanrio stickers—it became my personalized masterpiece. Their gardening section keeps pulling me back too, always full of fun surprises. If you love crafts, unique finds, or just a bit of nostalgia in the form of cute stationery, this store is...
