Read moreWe actually went to the library, and have been to the park many times. The City of Irvine has just taken over and reopened this library. Right now, although it has been cleaned, painted and refurnished, the usual library courtesy is non existent. Rather than being a quiet place to read, research and study, there is a nontrivial din of noise. It's not just folks whispering and speaking quietly, it's downright noisy. Folks use normal speaking voices, kids run around and yell. The whole of Heritage Park is supposedly up for a total renovation, including this library - maybe that will help. Read moreHeritage Community Park is one of my favorite spots in the city! It’s clean( except geese’s poop), peaceful, and perfect for families. There’s a large playground for kids, open grassy areas for picnics or just relaxing, and beautiful walking paths.
What I love the most is how quiet and safe it feels, even when it’s a bit busy. There are also tennis courts and sports fields, which is great if you’re into activities. Plus, there’s plenty of free parking!
