Year 2024: So I used them again (selling) and both times the service was mediocre! The lady who helped me wasn’t friendly at all, didn’t smile, no hi/hello and got a low-ball offer/s. It’s not a crime to be nice girl so please act accordingly since your job requires to be one. Anyway, I got other items that I am still waiting to get paid. I don’t understand why they always make me wait for over two weeks to process my payout request. You got my items (buyout) and you’ve sold it already in your site so why does it always takes so long? In Fashionphile, I usually get my money deposited in my bank for only 3 business days max! Thought I give this company a second chance but I guess if you’re buying from them, they give crazy good service but when it comes to selling, it’s quite the opposite.

Year 2023: Selling process was very slow. The lady who helped me told me that she would process the items two business days after I dropped them. Well she lied, took a week before she processed and then another two weeks to pay me for the items I dropped off to their Irvine office. A total of three weeks. Just sharing my consignment experience - I think they have a very good policy and consignment rate.

However, unless your bag is a more popular brand (Hermes, Chanel, etc.), they may not promote/advertise your bag as much. I had my bag on consignment with them for almost a year, I understand my bag is not a super popular one so I was able to request a return.

I requested the return online but hadn’t heard anything for a few days, so I had to call them to confirm my bag would be ready for pickup.

They immediately send me an email that it was ready for pickup, then they had me email them the day and time I would arrive to the office. They said they would have the bag ready then - I arrive and the person who answered the door seemed like she had no idea I would be coming then because she (kind of rudely) asked if I had an appointment. She had to ask another person had to look for the bag, and that seemed to take awhile, like they weren’t expecting me.

I purchased a bag from here and was excited to pick it up in person. The website described the bag 9.5/10 in condition, so I was expecting a bag in pristine condition. It wasn’t. It was so worn out that 7 would be a generous rating. I was appalled to hear that they don’t carry anything below 8 because this bag was not 9.5 condition. The handle is permanently crooked which was shown on the photo, but the chain of the bag was definitely worn out. Overall the quality of the bag was terrible. I was unhappy with the bag because the description of the bag was not what I received, and they gave me options to get a store credit or a very little refund as they can’t refund the full amount in original form of payment.
