I absolutely love Supreme Fitness.
I started going here, in February after being released from Physical Therapy after a car accident. I was extremely weak and excited but nervous to start a new program. I was also extremely out of shape.
I workout with Cheryl, and she is AMAZING. She is extremely aware of what I am and am not able to do with the problems I still have with my lower back.
I walked into Supreme Fitness not knowing what to expect. I couldnt even do a push-up. Sometimes there are "Challenges" posted on a board for the trainees to complete. One day, I did over 80 push-ups total in my hour workout. Me. Who couldnt do ONE push-up the day I walked into this gym.
Recently I was in another car accident, but I didnt stop going to workout with Cheryl. Of course my workouts have changed drastically, and will continue to be different until I am healed again - but I am still going, and Cheryl is coming up with new ways to still challenge me that do not affect my injuries. Most days I walk into Supreme Fitness feeling sore and discouraged, and I leave feeling 100% better. I really never thought I would love working out. I have never stuck with a program more than a couple of months. Im happy to say its been 6 months and I am still going strong!
Sometimes... I just sit and look at the definition in my arms. Ive never had that before. Cheryl is so patient, an amazing trainer and so positive. I definitely recommend her, and Norm is also awesome. There is always a good, happy vibe in Supreme Fitness, they have great equipment... I dont have a single bad thing to say.
Oh, when healthy (uninjured) I even BOX here. Its an amazing aggression release and just so much fun. And I am being taught how to "not punch like a girl" :) I could go on for days about the things I love in this gym. And the thing is, its not really like a gym. Read moreI have been training with Norm McCallson at Supreme Fitness for 6 years. I cannot say enough about Norm's dedication and commitment to his clients. His knowledge surpasses any trainer I've worked with. He is always working to continue his education so his clients have the latest techniques at their disposal. Most important to me Norm is a great motivator. I found Norm after I had major surgery and permanent nerve damage in my right elbow. When I started working with Norm I could not lift any weight or perform any repetitive motions without causing spasms and severe pain (this included daily tasks; blo-drying my hair or vacuuming my house). Since my range of motion was affected and certain movements irritated the nerve Norm had to modify almost every exercise we did, because of his extensive knowledge this was never an issue. This was a slow process and Norm never gave up on me. I especially appreciated his motivation on the days I was frustrated. I am thrilled to say that today I'm lifting free weights and working out with weights on machines. I'm even doing push-ups!! I give Norm full credit for my recovery. Norm is my hero!!
