The absolute worst furniture buying experience. Ordered a couch for nearly $2K & was told it would be 3-4 weeks for delivery. After ordering & waiting weeks that became 6-7 weeks. Our first payment on the couch came due (and was made) before we ever even received it. When it did arrive, it was absolutely filthy. Filthy to the point of visibly being 2 different colors. An acquaintance who owns a furniture store took one look at pictures of it & stated, "that thing looks like it's been used." Worst was the enormous stain on the center cushion. It had obviously been wet & dried at some point. The couch smelled like a sour dish rag & of mold. In 40 degree temps I had to open my house windows & turn on the ceiling fans to air the smell out of my home. Our salesman (Tim) tried repeatedly to blame the disgraceful condition of this couch on the young men who delivered it. It would have been impossible for the couch to get wet & then dry in the hour it took to leave the store & arrive at our house. The young men who delivered it were polite, clean, diligent workers who did not cause this damage. Additionally, we paid $100 for a Scotchgard treatment. Tim insisted that he personally applied the treatment himself that morning. Problems with that - Scotchgard takes time to dry. It should have been applied well ahead of delivery. Also, if he applied the Scotchgard, how did he not notice the massive stain on the center cushion? Obviously we will never shop with this company again. We are receiving a full refund, but that will take 7-10 business days. Meanwhile my family is without living room furniture for Thanksgiving week because I sold my old set the day before the unusable Town & County couch was delivered. The inconvenience and stress that this experience has caused my family cannot be overstated, nor can the lack of concern from Tim or the company owner. I don't want any family to ever experience what we have dealt with from...
Read moreCheap furniture made overseas in sweat shops, in my opinion. Steer clear of this bargain basement of ripoffs. Management as surly as they come. (UPDATE: While I'm not sure what radio show you host, you sound a little touchy and paranoid about your political leanings and "victory." Please reread my brief comments. They dealt with your furniture, the origin of which you have now validated. You make America great again by selling furniture made in America. You yourselves used to do this years ago. ...
