I really liked these folks until I had trouble with the bike rack they sold me specifically for my RV. It was NOT rated for an RV and when I spoke with them, they said the only problem was I was not keeping the bolts tight. When I called the company of the bike rack, their first statement to me was "this rack is not rated for RVS". It's sad, cause I REALLY thought these were good guys. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH, don't trust them.
The folks here will not accept the fact that they sold me a rack that was NOT RATED for my travel trailer, The Kuat Company made that perfectly clear, and they also said it did not matter how well I maintained the bolts, (which I did) The aluminum frame is what caused the problem as the rack was too far from the rear axel ( the rack is rated to be no more than 5 feet from the rear axel, my axel is 8 1/2 feet from the rack) This caused the rack to vibrate much more than it should have, causing the holes where the bolts go through the aluminum frame to expand, causing the bolts to vibrate even more until they actually sheared off. YES I travel 1000s of miles, that is why I needed a rack THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN RATED FOR THE TRAILER I told you that I had.
And regards to the bike shop that you gave me to contact, the first thing they said was the same, this rack is not rated for the RV that I have and there is nothing they or the Kuat can do because it voids the warranty as it IS NOT...
Read moreWe drove through Snow Canyon the day before and was surprised by the lack of publicity the site has. Lots of amazing views. We had 2 hours to spare the next day and jumped into Rampage to rent an ebike. We were out the door and on the trail in 10 minutes. Great ride up the canyon and you get to parts of the canyon that are inaccessible by car. I'm a medium biker and didn't need the electronic assist at all, nor did my in shape 27 year old son. 2 hours will get you plenty far. $100 for 2 bikes and helmets. Great service. Oh and the bikes, we got lucky maybe as they seemed new. Aventon I think. Best shocks I've ever seen on a bike plus auto seat adjust from a switch on the handle bars. Nicest bikes I've ever seen or ridden on. one more thing, the shop is about 1/4 mile from the canyon gatehouse and there's an off-road bike path the whole way. $5 per rider for...
Read moreMy family and I rented from Rampage along with my sister and her family (10/5/24). About halfway through the Snow Canyon, a battery died on one of our bikes. We eventually made it back to the shop and the employee was apologetic. We were offered a refund on the bike with the dead battery. Even though it effected the entire group, I thought, at least they're trying to do the right thing. Here's where the 1 star comes in. Several weeks went by and no refund was issued. I called, and again, the employee was apologetic. I checked my credit card and there was a refund. However, it was less than what I paid. Rather than calling again to complain about being nickled and dimed (about $10 worth), I think it is more appropriate to leave a poor review. I understand unfortunate things can happen, but this is just...
