I used to go here all the time. Last week I placed an online order. The website told me I had ordered more that $35 worth of groceries and I could get the MVP deal on the turkey, so I got that too. When I arrived for pick up, the associate told me that somehow my order didn't total $35 and I didn't qualify for the deal on the turkey. Even though I had paid for the order with the turkey online. I told them just to cancel the order. She went inside and I reparked and waited, she had me come inside to talk to the manager. The manager told me they could not add anything to my order to make it $35 dollars so I could get the turkey. She said what they COULD do was cancel my online order and I could get more items and repay. I called instacart to cancel my order, apparently food lion had marked my order complete before even coming to my car, Instacart told them they had to refund it because Food Lion had already marked it complete. Now first off, WHY would you mark my order complete BEFORE I get it? So I believed what they said and repurchased everything and extra stuff. So the food lion staff convinced me to repurchase my order a second time under the belief that THEY could CANCEL my order. Well I never got a refund, Instacart said they never issued the refund, I went to Food Lion and the Manager today told me it was on Instacart. No, your associate and your manager had me come inside the store, YOUR staff told me they could cancel the order and I could rebuy it inside. So it is also ON FOOD LION. Read moreYour store was rated 5 Stars I'm editing my review due to your cashier LESLIE. She has no care for customer service should not be in customer service and treats all customers very rudely! I was there on July 22nd 2025; Leslie was checking an older woman out at the register in front of me and she was so rough with her groceries that her bag of peaches went tumbling to the floor. Leslie did not offer to pick them up for the woman. When it was my turn and she bagged my groceries she was throwing them into the bag so hard that my blackberries were all open inside my bag, most of my groceries were damaged. Leslie proceeded to treat the lady behind me who voiced her concern as well since she had many glass bottles she was hoping would not break from Leslie slamming those products into a bag. I called the manager because this is not the first time Leslie has done this and I'm sure nothing will be done just like last time. So when visiting this location make sure you do not check out at the register Leslie is working at. Just an FYI unless you want your groceries to be damaged and yourself treated rudely with no respect. Food Lion is not known for this Behavior but has allowed Leslie to be this way towards their customers. Read moreI was Impressed with the employee's in this store, as I am with the employees in my town in the North East. Just recently purchased a new battery at the AutoZone in Rhode Island, they checked that first, then used a code scanner to narrow down why the check engine light was on. After the employee looked up what the meaning of the code was, he went back to my vehicle, looked at the motor very closely and luckily spotted a cap missing from one of the vacuum line ports.(point of interest). Miraculously, he found THEE cap on another part of the motor, put in in its rightful place and the check engine light shut off in two days. I wish I could remember his name, because he wouldn't even let me buy him lunch or a coffee. This employee probably saved me at LEAST $100, which is what the Volkswagen dealer wanted to just look at it. Bottom line... always a great experience dealing with AutoZone and there more than capable employees who have always been willing to help me out, especially in a bind.
