Food Lion — Local services in Jacksonville

Went in this morning & was having issues with my wic transaction.. something wasn’t approved when it should have been which is a very common issue for wic transactions. The 2 younger cashiers who were trying to assist me were very helping and friendly and 100% professional with me while I was having this issue purchasing my babies food.. however once the manager was called over because they couldn’t figure out the issue, the manager (older lady with glasses) seemed to be having a stressful day already so when she came over she was already snappy.. she went through my things (3 times) and she still couldn’t figure out what wasn’t approved after going through my things 3 times and she wanted me to just pay the remaining balance (which I couldn’t pay at the moment) even tho it was supposed to be approved on my wic! When I told her I couldn’t pay it bc all I had with me today was my wic card so I just came for baby food and formula and she got upset, told me she was over it and was just going to let me take it and told me to have a good day while handing my receipts to me & rushing me out of the store.. I thanked her for letting me take the baby food and then I thanked the younger cashiers who were nice to me and quietly left the store.. I left feeling embarrassed first of all, offended, mistreated, and strait up pissed .. you name it. (All due to how manager spoke to me and treated me while she was assisting the cashiers with my transaction..) will be going to the foodlion on western...

I am almost positive the manager is in a theft ring of propane tank she has somebody sit outside bride the propane tanks and steals them so you are forced to buy a new one so if you try to take it in the store she will yell at you demean you and talk down to you as she did me in front of my nephew and will insist that you take it outside so it can be stolen and you will be forced to buy a new propane tank which costs nearly $70 instead of the $22 exchange I do believe this lady should be reported to local law enforcement for setting up a mafia like crime organization when it comes to these propane tanks I caught her red-handed when she was trying to force me to leave my tank outside for it to be stolen. I would be very glad to answer any questions about my incident to anybody from Food Lion except from miss Gretta the manager of the store I would love if local long forcement got up with me about this. I have still not gotten a response from Food Lion or why this behavior continues I have been able to contact 2 other people who have run into this with the propane tanks and the manager, we are looking into Contacting the local news and BBB and see if they are willing to do a...

Ever since they changed the staff it has gone down hill. Every time we go through self checkout the people hover over me and my cart. Today we forgot to ring up a bag of chips. The lady sat there on her little handheld thing and watched us pay, saw we missed the chips. Instead of letting us know before we payed she said ,"Oh I have to check receipts from time to time." Even though she didn't check anybody else's. It felt like a gotcha moment over a bag of chips. Why waste everybody's time over something so small when she could have said something before the card was ran. She was already checking her little handheld thing and standing over our cart. Before the card was accepted is when she decided to say something. You're making people feel like criminals for a simple mistake that could've been addressed. Every time I go to their self checkout they have to stand right behind me staring into my cart and at the screen. Very uncomfortable shopping experience. Why would I spend 90+ dollars to steal a bag of chips? If that wasn't the vibe you were going for, why do you stand over me like it is? Not even just in this case that happened but every time I use...
