This location needs more staffing. My family and I ordered using online order for pick up. We ordered around 430p and were told it would be ready at 515p, my husband arrived and there was a single employee working. No one else in the building. This store is severely understaffed on a regular basis. He did not get our food until 5:45. Over an hour after placed, 30+ mins after we were told would be ready. I called today to speak to a manager and she informed me she was the manager, however she was there by herself. She had people in the lobby and online orders pending. She apologized that she was not able to take my call and asked me to call her back in about 15 mins. I cannot bring myself to add more stress to her day. The owners of this location should be very ashamed of the lack of care for the facility, customers and definitely lack of concern for their staff. I can only assume this is an issue with the owner of the franchise or the corporate office. I am assuming this is a franchise. There is no reason that a store like this in a shopping center has less than 3 staff members in store at all times. There is no reason that the manager is working a shift by themselves. How are they supposed to manage customers in person, online orders and still maintain a level of cleanliness in the store, the food line, restrooms etc. This is humanly impossible. The owner of this franchise needs to hire better staff, keep staff in the store and if none are available, take themselves into the store to work it. Its a shame that business owners only care about the revenue and not the actual care of the store and its customer base anymore. The owners of this location should be ashamed! We will not be going to this location in the future. In addition to all of this, apparently the oven has been down for weeks now, again a business owner not taking care of its investment is sad! This should have been fixed immediately. We requested all of our subs to be toasted when we ordered online, none were toasted. None of the sandwiches were labeled as to which was which either, I have always had subway sandwiches labeled. We ordered 4 subs, a flatbread and kids meal. Extremely disappointed. This is a situation that I would not blame the employees (or employee since it seems there is 1 staff member at any given time). Do better! Subway corporate needs to start doing surprise visits to its franchise locations and prevent bad owners from carrying the company name and product. I place an order for pickup, at 9:25 am. Website says they are open at 9. I have been in there before at 9ish. Cool, I can get in and if it's ready, awesome. If not, I can take it to run. I have to be back at work at 9:30 so I would have just enough time.
Get there at 9:13. Locked. Knocked, no answer. Call, no answer. Try to see if I could see anyone, nope. Called a different store to see if they could get a hold of the store.
They told me that they would call me right back. At this time it's 9:18. I wait a few more minutes, before I say screw it and start heading back to work. I get a call on my way back "oh they would be there in like 5 minutes."
Well, by the time they clock in and get set up, I would be past my clock in time. I tell the other end to just hold off until I can get off work because there is no way I could get the subs since they weren't there now. And I need to be back at work in a literal 3 minutes.
I get off and go to get my subs at around 1143. I ask if I could have a bag of chips for my inconvenience, since they not only weren't open when they were scheduled to be, but because they were not going to be able to make the food on time.
The lady told me that I unconvinced her, because I asked her to hold off on making it then (which i understand, in theory). I told her that I couldn't pick it up because it wasn't ready at the scheduled time. In fact, no one was here at that time. She claimed she was. I told her then why didn't she answer the call or come investigate when I was knocking on the door? She said she was there. I asked why the door was closed and the other store said she was going to be in after the time my sub was supposed to have already been done.
She scoffed and walked away. I didn't catch her name, but I am not going to go to this store again if their response to their own failures is to gaslight the customer.

   Read moreThis was a store I visited almost every day for a chopped salad and I’ve always received great customer service. I always admired the one particular female worker who instantly knew what I wanted. Well last Tuesday I went in and I got a totally different experience. Store was empty as me and my brother entered to order. Maria appeared kind as she took my order, but when I asked her to please chopped my cheese up in my salad, she began to tell me that was against subway policy. I’m thinking I come here regularly and this is exactly what I have always gotten with no problem. I asked when did this become policy, she went on to say it is policy and the other workers were not supposed to chopped my cheese up in my chopped salad. Hmm.. the more I went into this concern she became very irate and threatened to call the police on me if I didn’t leave because I obviously have no right to speak as a customer of concerns. I callled customer service got nothing, I’m still waiting on the owner to contact me. Nothing. I was a regular customer, I will and have not been back since. Thanks Maria way to go with such awesome customer service, as I said before, I hope the cheese was worth loosing a regular customer.
