Main Street Trading Company Jewelers — Local services in Jacksonville

This place doesn't even deserve one star, but I can't put no stars so I guess one star is relevant. I have NEVER been treated so rudely. My boyfriend & I walked in & began looking around. We saw a a pair of doors - one was open, one was not & there was no sign saying "Do not enter" or anything like that so we walked in. On one of the cars back there, there was a for sale sign that told how much the car was - my boyfriend was excited because he's a car freak & considering we saw the for sale sign, we were still under the impression that we could walk back there & look around. As we were looking, a big man with blonde hair yelled at us & told us we're not suppose to be in there. He tried to say we were lying that the door was open & treated us like complete criminals. I told my boyfriend that I wanted to leave & that the man was rude & the man said "I'm not rude, you're not suppose to be in there". I lifted my arms and showed him we didn't take anything (nor did we touch anything) & he walked us out. If he watches the cameras, he's see that the door was in fact, open, & there was no sign. They lied about the weight of my ring and the size and quality of the diamond. I was going to sell it to them, and they tried to say it was only 2.25 grams and the diamond is only 0.4 carats. However, I have appraisal papers and diamond certification, which I showed them. They were extremely rude, treated me horribly, and insulted me and my late husband. After I left, I went straight to another jeweler and was told that my paperwork was accurate. My ring actually weighs 3.79 grams and my diamond measures .72 carats. To confirm again, I went to yet another jeweler and again I was told the information on my paperwork is accurate. Beware of these scam artists. Do not sell your gold or jewelry to them. You WILL be lied to and they will try to rip you off. Since this happened, others have told me they had the same experience with Main Street Trading Company. The two men that lied to me are the owner (short, older man) and I'm told the other is his son (strawberry blond hair, heavy set). I would give them 0 stars if that...

These guys are kick ass people who are very knowledgeable and won't try to screw ya out of your hard earned money like most people there very reasonable on pricing and have everything from diamond rings to furniture and even cars what a great place definitely a must go to place in Jacksonville!!!!!
