This is a great small town music store. The owners, Mike and Diane, are extremely friendly and knowledgable. They offer lessons for many types of instruments. Their inventory is impressive for a small store and they recently expanded to offer additional retail space and new lesson rooms. Their prices are excellent. Equal or better than "e-store" prices. Need some random weird part? They probably have it. Need some 2B broom handle drumsticks? They got em. If they don't have it in stock, they can get it for you in no time. I needed a 1/4" male to 1/8" female audio plug adapter. I had (foolishly) ordered one from Amazon, which was supposed to be here today... But never showed up. Shoot, where the heck can I get this obscure little plug locally near Jaffrey? Rousseau's to the rescue! Not only did they have EXACTLY what I needed but they had like twenty of them AND at a fair price. Lesson learned for the millionth time: shop local, support your neighbors! I visited today to purchase an acoustic guitar for my partner as a Christmas gift. I was surprised by the beautiful array of instruments all along the walls and display stands, so much to offer in such a small venue! Accoustic & electric guitars, ukuleles, violins, banjos, pianos, you name it! The woman watching the store was very helpful, she was very patient and accommodated all my needs.
