Jaffrey Pizza Barn — Restaurant in Jaffrey

I keep going to the Jaffrey Pizza Barn because the food does taste good. But with that said, every time i go there MY BILL IS WAY OVER THE PRICES UP ON THE WALL. Tonight I ordered out a small turkey and american sub with mayo, lettuce and onions (6.05 for small turkey per the wall) A large turkey and american cheese sub with lettuce, onion, pickles and mayo (8.05 for a large turkey per the wall) And finally another large turkey and american cheese with mayo, spinach, onions, black olives and cucumbers (8.05 per the wall) MY TOTAL SHOULD HAVE BEEN 22.15..WELL I WAS CHARGED 29.85!! WHAT?! I had finally gotten up the nerve to question the total and i asked nicely why the prices are always so drastically different than the wall and the girls' reply was because I was asking for specialty items like pickles!(she said normal is lettuce tom and onion) So what she is telling me is that TO GET SPINACH, PICKLES, BLACK OLIVES AND CUCUMBERS(and i would now assume cheese and mayo) THEY CHARGED ME AN EXTRA $7.70!!!!! This is not the first time this has happened by any means. I have had enough with their SCAM PRICING! AND EVERYONE BETTER PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT THEY ARE BEING CHARGED And the kicker- when I got home it didn't even have black olives..$7.70 for 3 vegetables added...Ha well the...

Awful!! Never ever order for delivery. They accept the order make you wait until the latest delivery estimate and THEN they cancel!!! I went there twice and it was okay, but the painful way they deal with deliveries makes them a nonstarter. Waaayyy too many other options! Check out The Sandwich Master in Rindge! Awesome food and extensive menu. And they do deliver….

Interesting response from the owner. I placed the order at 6:29 pm, checked off saver for an 8 pm delivery. I received confirmation that th the order was received and that they would begin working on my order closer to delivery time. They cancelled at 8:20 after extending the estimated delivery time to 8:20. The first, second and even third time this happened with them I didn’t say anything. Enjoyed this place and spent hundreds of dollars since i live locally. I put in an order for a cheeseburger plain with three pieces of cheese (i have an eating disorder and im very picky) i was told she got my order and read it back when i nicely called back after getting my order which was wrong i was hung up on and shamed and told to come back if im that wronged while laughing and he’d give me the 50 cents for the cheese i told him i don’t want it remade i just would love the two pieces of cheese and id pay for it and i was again hung up on. I went back and out the food back on the counter so they knew i wasn’t trying to scam them for another (burnt) burger and told them that’s how how you treat people who have supported you with hundreds of dollars of orders and walked out.
