A pretty cool old house. We went to a showing called Gowns and Guns that we're displayed in 2 separate buildings, one of them really cool. The gowns were from the 1800's and early 1900's and some had wedding pictures too. The other building had guns that showed the evolutionary advances over the years. Paper cartridges, never heard of that? There was even a copy of the weapon the killed President Lincoln. There was also displays from Parker pen, a china collection and a downstairs display of the Janesville GM Plant history complete with pictures and the 100 millionth car (a 67 Impala) also an older cool? 1927 Chevy! There are other events though the year and the Christmas tree display with 150 trees sounds awesome!

nice low key car show, diversity in machines, as always brought back plenty of memories, support your small town shows, help to keep them alive.

Called on the way to the info. center. admission fees and locations were provided over the phone. Once we got there, fees doubled and we were informed that it wasn't one location, we had to pay for each building at a rate $30 vs. $5 per person. One of us stayed in the gift shop while the other used the bathroom and the staff was talking about us. We left and didn't take any tour. Not worth time, confusion, ...

This place is absolutely amazing... I was blown away when i saw the pens.... IYKYK..... Anyway, people have art on consignment and there is plenty of things to look at. The entrance that I went through was around the side of the main building and wheelchair accessible... Staff at the Rock County Historical Society were epically helpful and super friendly.... Smiles on everyones faces... Thank You for the...
