Can’t give 5 stars as we did not go in, but it is a beautiful house and worth a quick stop. Grounds are also pretty with view of Janesville. Museum is next door, along with the archives. Plenty of other old homes to walk around as well.

Wasn't open on Mondays and Tuesdays while I was in town. Just walked around the grounds. Tent was sent up from maybe a wedding. Beautiful buildings. Didn't say much about it outside. Everything was deserted.

Absolutely beautiful historical treasure in Rock County! Very well maintained architectural treasure with knowledgeable staff. Been many times, summer and winter and always learn new and interesting facts.

Dave was an amazing tour guide and handled our small (6) group of talkative ladies beautifully. He knew the history of the house and the family so well and was wonderful at bringing it to life.. The house is breathtaking! It was wonderful to have so much of the original furniture in the home. Highly recommend this tour! Hoping to plan a trip at...

The carriage house served as a great place to eat, play games and open presents for a large group. The staff was easy to work with and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the...
