I did not have a positive experience here and I would recommend you check into other schools in the area!

I attended MTCI for the Patient care program, which consisted of smaller courses taken in sequence (cna, ekg,phlebetomy..). Due to circumstances beyond my control, I was forced to postpone after completing my CNA course(not certification), blood borne pathogen certification and basic life support/CPR certification. Shortly after I completed the CNA, I called to ask if I could pick up or have mailed to me my proof of certications/course completion. I was put on hold and then very rudely told they could not release this paperwork to me because I had received financial aid. And that they could only release this information to the agency that funded me. This is a crock of ..well you know lol. They just didnt want to take the time to do it because I had quit and was no longer worth their time. After I posted a very short review on facebook, they proceeded to lie and say this or that. Not a suprise, as it goes with the integrity of the staff. I also ordered a stethoscope thru the school which was paid by my financial aid. They never gave me anything. I had to buy another set. The books were just photo copies of another book in a binder which had to be returned. One of them even had instructions to clean a patient's bowel movement , dip the wash cloth back into the clean soapy water and wipe more. It was just disgusting. Yuck. Common sense luckily kicked in for me, my instructor and fellow classmates . And we knew better. The only positive thing I can say is my CNA instructor was excellent, very knowledgable and taught well. I aced the class and final. I did attend this school a few years ago so all I can say is hopefully they have better staff now. But after seeing the recent review backlash on Facebook with the blatant lies I doubt it. There are many other training schools in the area and I can say is please look into them thoroughly. The last thing you need while struggling thru school and work and home is a school that's not on your side and only cares about money....

Shadiest unhonest School I’ve ever been to I don’t even want to give them One star. they tell you anything to get you to sign up and spend your money and then, when you’re almost through with the program, they make up a lie to drop you from the program. then they wanna say that the information you told them multiple times before you even begin school was never told to them. Which is a straight lie. They took over $6000 of vocational Rehab money and wasted six months of my life, and I have nothing to show for it because they lied through their teeth. Go to any school except this one.besides the lying The education they offer is barely minimum if that. They don’t care about their students. they are not even accredited. When you email the teachers for help with something it takes some over week And a Call to admission before they respond to you. And they never put your grades in. go to any school, but this one. after trying to speak to someone about this issue They are now making up, lies, saying that I falsified information on my application, which is untrue. I was very upfront about my background with them. all they do is lie lie, lie, and as soon as someone confronts them, they threaten harassment because you are trying to get a certificate for the work you put in.they refuse to return phone calls and then when you call back to try to get to the bottom of something they tell you, you’re the one harassing them, but they are the one who’s wasting your time and taking money .This school Needs to be shut down I will be contacting the Board of Education.They are telling me that I dropped myself from classes, which is the biggest lie ever. Why would I put in all that work ,drive an hour each way multiple days for classes to just drop myself. When I asked them to show me the email where I dropped myself, they did not want to give it to me. If there is a class action lawsuit going on with them, I will be involved. This place is a disaster. As for the esthetician course, they’ll take your money and give you no schedule, no syllabus, and you’ll have no idea what to expect. You’re just waiting on an email, then the course will start a week late. All of your coursework is copied straight from the textbook and none of it gets graded. They will forget to reach out to you to do your in-person practicals, so your only option will be to take time off of your work to get it done in time. They’ll then give you one month to complete 25 waxes and 25 full facials. You’ll need to provide all of your own products, your own bed, and find your own models. They’ll then call you and say you have one week to submit the videos or they’ll charge you $150 to extend the course (also never mentioned before signing up). When you reach out to Vanessa (the owner) to express your frustration, she’ll completely gaslight you and tell you it’s all your fault. She’ll laugh in your face, call you names, and threaten to have you removed by security (all of which I have on video). If you can’t afford a better option, atleast ask for all of the expectations and deadlines in writing because there is no standard here. It’s just whatever...
