I was fishing in the area with the boys. And we were starving. Didn't want to sit down somewhere and eat. Looked up food places that will serve trays of tacos. Found this plate, and it did not disappoint. Ordered up 30 tacos and got some Mexican ice cream too, all came to a little over $150.00. But the Steak tacos was definitely worth the hype. I've had tacos all over Wisconsin and these were probably some of the juiciest, tastiest steak tacos I've ever had. The red salsa was also fantastic and just hot enough but not enough to burn your tongue but the afterburn of it was really nice. Really great tiny mom and pop shop just Mexican style with great food. If I am ever in the area again, I will stop by. Really well hidden gem, the restaurant isn't on the big main street; you have to turn to find it. But the wonderful lady at the register was super hospitable and friendly. Even though English wasn't her first language she tried her best to talk to us and made us feel very welcomed. They were absolutely disgusting and I had to throw 2 of the 3 away. First it was not actual steak chunks like usual Mexican steak tacos, it was some sort of ground up meat. They were dripping with grease. Flavor was awful. I felt extremely nauseous the rest of the evening.
