Dear lord I wish it were possible to leave LESS than one star. This place is a disorganized disaster. I have been waiting on a couch since June 2020 ( 7 months now) and I specifically ordered a piece because they told me they had it in stock.
This was not the piece that I wanted-- but I just simply wanted a couch to sit on instead of still sitting on my family room floor for another 7 months. So I ordered it BECAUSE THEY TOLD ME IT WAS IN STOCK.
So today I was supposed to receive my order. What an exciting day after 7 months!!! So they give me a designated window that the couch will arrive between (2:00 and 4:00 PM). Meanwhile, there is a tracker that I can track my order to get a more specific idea of when the couch will arrive. The Tracker kept updating all day. The tracker settled on 2:30-3:00 the couch would arrive.
So at 2:20 I left work to go receive the couch. 3:15 rolls around and no one has arrived nor has the Tracker updated. I called the office and received an automated message that "due to high call volume, they are not taking calls." So I was directed to text a number for an update.
Obviously I texted the number inquiring where my couch was because I needed to get back to work. The response I received was as follows:
"We tried to call you this morning and couldn't leave a voicemail"(interesting because I have other voicemails from today-- so this is clearly untrue) "The delivery company was unable to find the loveseat this morning when they were loading the truck. I am not sure what happened but we have ordered another one it will be in in about 6 weeks."
So the couch I ordered SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE IT WAS IN STOCK was somehow LOST. How does one lose a couch?
I then asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that no supervisor or manager was working. So this either explains why this company is run so poorly (there is no one to supervise that people are actually doing their jobs) OR this was also a lie.
I have never in my life left a bad review for a company. However, I am absolutely disgusted with LOW's customer service, complete lack of communication, and being so unorganized that they were able to "lose" a couch.
I cannot recommend enough that people STAY AWAY from...
Read moreThe prices are reasonable, but are they good enough to justify the issues I've experienced? I would rather pay slightly more than wait three months and still pay extra for delivery.
I ordered a bedroom set with a mattress in mid-September. I was told the mattress could take 3-4 weeks to arrive. Four weeks later, I called to find out what was happening, and they told me the mattress hadn't shipped yet and would be 2-3 weeks. It's now the beginning of November, and I don't have anything yet. I convinced them to bring the furniture without the mattress so we could utilize the dressers.
It looks nice, but I can't sleep on it without a mattress, so after moving in, we're sleeping on a spare bed in the basement. I was still waiting at the end of November, so I drove back to the store to speak to someone in person. I'm told that it's getting put on a truck next week, and it could be 2-3 weeks until it's delivered. The timeline lines up, so it should be before Christmas. I get a notification on the Friday before Christmas, with the soonest delivery possible being the Friday after Christmas.
I'm tired of sleeping in my basement, and I want to wake up Christmas morning in my new bed in my new house after months of waiting, so I'm forced to shell out $179 for "rush delivery."
I understand they can't deliver something they don't have, but it's called Louisville OVERSTOCK. Communication was absolutely terrible. I don't get any updates unless I reach out first. There's no "Sorry for the delay, your estimated shipping date was pushed back." It's total radio silence. I have store credit left over, but I will probably never use it. If it hadn't been almost 4 months since I paid, I'd probably ask my credit card company to charge back the "remaining credit" instead of letting them keep it.
The juice isn't worth the squeeze. Go anywhere else and pay a little more for fast and FREE delivery.
The furniture and mattress are...
Read moreMy wife and I have spent $10,380.04 this year, so far, in this store. Weâve had major problems with only two of our orders. This store has A clear issue with its manufacture, warehouse or delivery team. The last two orders have arrived damaged or not working properly. The J-town store wants to argue with me the last couple of times on the phone about the doomed orders. I spoke with Jordan on the phone. He pretty much told me the Ashleyâs furniture Iâm buying is low standard and thereâs going to be issues with those lower end buys. Most of their showroom floor is the Ashleyâs furniture Iâve been buying! The last two orders were scratched, dented or the drawers werenât moving in or out properly. LOW is responsible for warrenty of the furniture. Jordan thinks I should take Video and send it to him so he can troubleshoot the issue and I can fix it myself. My wife are spending all this money at his store during this world wide pandemic.Theyâre basically blaming us for the damages and delivery issues caused by them. It makes no sense! And yet we still spent more money at this store! They really should do more to make sure the furniture theyâre receiving and delivering are in better condition and that it works. It blows my mind that this manager and his team will almost have you convinced that itâs your fault, the furniture that you bought, is low standard and will almost certainly arrive damaged and/ or not working. If the furniture drawers arenât functioning properly, or it arrives with a 2 inch dent in the side... then this team should go above and beyond to solve these issues. Unfortunately, Louisville Overstock warehouse in J-town is not at all concerned for the customer once the sale is finalized. I give credit where credit is due. Feel free to check my other reviews on...
