You forgot the word "anymore..." he's mentioned throughout your other reviews. And what does that even matter? Yes he came to our house, yes he lied to my face about the service disconnect!! (You guys know this because when you actually did need it turned off at the transformer I HAD TO CALL the power company to make it happen. You then showed up without the needed material to do the job, so the linesman had to leave, making what should have been a 15-20 min disconnect last 5 hours with my generator running the whole time. As I was standing there, the linesman told Matt (who then told Jeriah) that removing the tamper tag on THEIR meter was a big no-no and fineable, but he understood that different power companies have varying levels of enforcement and educated Matt about their policies, but was going to let it slide that time around.) Yes we requested, for a variety of reasons Nick be taken off the job and made it clear he was not welcome to return to our home. Matt 100% installed the outlet with the faceplate covering the baseboard (he also tried to leave with my well pump turned off because he was unable to identify the circuit and only turned it on at my insistence!!) To disavow or claim you weren't responsible for this work or that my descriptions are in anyway inaccurate or disingenuous is simply continued dishonesty. This was my honest experience with this company and this is an honest review with the only purpose being to save others from the unpleasant, headache inducing, and subpar experience we had with this company. I have no motivation to be dishonest. We paid our bill, we took our lumps and lessons learned and have moved on. I don't believe they set out to do a poor job on my project, but through poor management, oversight, internal communication, coupled with some fails on execution, we, the paying customer didn't get the experience or the level of quality workmanship we were expecting, or quite frankly I believe they have the capacity to provide. Look at my review, look at their response and decide for yourself.

Original: No... Just no. RUN! Liars and just an unskilled bunch that showed up to my house 4 times for what was sold as a "one day job" (panel replacement and two outlets installed). Charged for service disconnect, and told it scheduled with my electric company. Tech (Nick, who also smelled of cat urine) showed up and said to my face "they must be running late, we can't wait, so we'll just do it." Found out later they had never contacted my electric company and removed tamper tag (note the name) with ZERO authorization. Told by South Central Electric I could face a fine for their actions. Permit? "We'll charge you them... no idea if we need them or got them... not really our concern.. " "two copper grounding rods installed... ehh, we'll just install one galvanized and see if our mark... err.. I mean ""customer"" noticed if we're once again not giving him what was sold." Long list of other deficiencies (had to have my septic pumped because they did not correctly reconnect the electricity to my septic lift system, NEVER showed up with the parts needed, backup generator was not engaged/operable when they left due to their actions... and more) Whole experience with R&T Yoder, after initial sales, was a complete joke and cost me money to fix their mess. They should be embarrassed by the work they did on my home. Photos attached of what they consider "finished work. I DO NOT have 8 miscellaneous and two spare circuits. All those are connected to important stuff. You know just little things like my septic, smoke detectors... nothing important... Seriously.... don't hire this company if you need... well anything!!! Don't let these poor excuses for electricians touch your property unless you enjoy having to hire someone else to fix their shoddy work and call off multiple days of work for a "one day job". Disgraceful to...

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING! They quoted a day & a half to install a new shower and it actually took them a month to complete it. They only showed up for 1-2 hours at a day over that month. I not recommend R&T Yoder. Their plumber Alex refused to let me speak with the owner for the issues listed below, saying that the owner never speaks with anyone, that he pays people to do that for him. Who doesn't care enough about their business to speak with a customer?!? This is a business without integrity. Please save yourself the hassle, anxiety and frustration and call a different company. They came out for a Plumbing issue. Alex & Patrick determined that I would need a new shower (mine was leaking). They quoted a price to remove my old shower & install a new one along with telling me it would only take a day and a half to install . They installed the shower track backwards so the drain holes would run out into my floor instead of back into the shower. They didn't level the shower base correctly so there was a gap in the back that water could get through. They broke, damaged and cut areas of my bottom trim on the walls. The drywall they installed was very wavy and not right either. My bathroom floors were also damaged from Alex running his saw over it past where the new shower would be. The manager Chris came out and determined everything was going to have to be taken out and start again from scratch. Chris said he would personally come back out through each stage of the process to make sure everything was being done correctly and gave me a small discount, which at that point regained my confidence. Chris lied, he never came back or even called me. My confidence was once again shattered. They had to hire a different company to do the drywall and base trim saying they didn't have time to do it themselves. That company didn't show up twice for their scheduled date and time, and they damaged the shower pan and neither company repaired it. So my shower was damaged before i could even use it. This job that was quoted at one and a half days, ended up not being completed for a month. Then when they were finally "done", they had lost a piece to the shower doors that goes in the bottom track , it prevents the doors from colliding into each other and causing damage. They said they can't find a replacement piece anywhere and I'm just out of luck, that the shower works and that's all the work they are doing. I did absolutely nothing wrong, and trusted them to fix their mistakes everything was 100% their errors. I was nothing but patient and kind throughout the entire agonizing process and Alex treated me like I was the issue on the final phone call demanding payment for their incomplete resolution and trying to cover his errors with lies. Additionally they were hired at the same time to replace my outdoor spigot. Even that was not done correctly. It was leaking out the handle the 1st time I used it. So they had to repair that too. Worst experience of my life with any...

Excellent Same-Day Service When I Needed It Most

I had a water leak emergency and was so relieved when R&T Yoder was able to get me a same-day appointment. From the moment I called, the experience was outstanding. The office staff were incredibly kind and understanding of my urgent situation, and they quickly arranged for a technician to come out.

Elaine was my technician, and I couldn't have asked for better service. She arrived right on time and immediately put me at ease with her friendly, professional demeanor. The issue was a toilet leak that required replacing the wax seal. Elaine quickly diagnosed the problem with her obvious expertise and took the time to thoroughly explain what needed to be done and why.

What impressed me most was how Elaine made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. She was relatable, patient with my questions, and clearly took great pride in her work. Her efficiency was remarkable - she completed the repair quickly while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
