While it remains to be seen if my central A/C unit continues to function properly, I have nothing but good things to say about the professionalism and apparent attention to detail from this morning's visit. After a weekend of excessive heat, my A/C was struggling to keep up. I called Royal Air this morning and they said they would try to get out to us today, the earliest being the afternoon. But less than hour later they called to say they could swing by in the morning. Chris showed up with his diagnostic equipment at the ready, got it plugged in and monitoring, and even cleaned the side filters of my unit. After about 15 minutes he gave it the all-clear, saying that everything checked out and it was likely just overheating due to dirty filters. He didn't try to sell me on anything, told me to keep an eye on it for a few days, and if any issues come up, they'd be right out to take a look. Definitely adding them to my contacts. And I'm definitely going to work on being better at home...

Wow, when you read reviews you are always skeptical if they are true of not. But 100% all these good reviews for Royal Heating are true and accurate. Don the owner is so responsive and got us a repairman 2 hours right after my emergency call. My HVAC was down and not only did the repairman fix my problem, he took time to clean out the pipes in HVAC and explain to me what to do if it happens again. I am going to have Don's guys replace my boiler because they are so honest and reasonable in price. I only wish I called knew about them sooner because I have been ripped off by so many other AC/HVAC companies. This great local Hudson County family owned business....

The weather hasn't warmed up enough to test out the mini-split air conditioners they installed but the overall experience of dealing with Chris at Royal Heating was one of the best I've ever had in dealing with contractors and tradesmen. Chris didn't mind answering questions or revising his quote after I changed some specs. He was pleasant to deal with, punctual, and dependable, and bent over backwards to make the job happen when I was having problems with the electrician I wanted to use for the necessary electrical work.
