Beautiful park designed by John T. Withers, nationally renowned landscape architect, around the turn of the century inspired by the "City Beautiful" movement. The park includes an historical marker for the Morris Canal Historic District. The Morris Canal ran close to here for almost a century until being abandoned in 1924.
