So disappointed. I really had a nice wheel throwing session and I wish I could remember my instructors name. She was awesome and very helpful! However, the pick up process is very unprofessional. I just drove over an hour to come and pick up my work. I paid the extra $15 fee for firing in the kiln. The hours posted in the studio and on the website state that pick ups can be done between the hours of 6pm-9pm on Wednesdays. I arrive and see that the door is closed. I call the number on the website and the owner says they changed the pick up hours (where? I don’t know, because it’s not posted anywhere.) She tells me she will see if someone can come and open the door for me so I can retrieve my work. A woman comes to open the door for me. I look for my work on the shelves and it’s not there. Because there is no organization by date or name, I have to sift through everyone’s work. I call her back and she is basically telling me it should be on the shelf. I just think someone should be there to help you when pick ups are being done. I came here on April 26th and the website states that work will be on the shelf for two months before being discarded or donated. I expect a refund...

Honestly I am extremely disappointed. I booked and paid for a class online which I was extremely excited about. I was trying to go out of my comfort zone and try something new and alone. While I’m in the Uber probably about 15 minutes away I receive a call from the owner saying the class is cancelled because only one other person booked. I completely understand that could be the case, but waiting till the last minute to notify someone is extremely unprofessional. I also checked if I may have missed a call previously or voicemail, but nothing. On top of that I immediately texted the owner to reschedule as instructed and have not received a response since. I tried calling today and received a response over text asking to text her which I did already a few days ago. I don’t usually write reviews, but this has been an extremely frustrating experience and the class was not cheap. Plus the Uber fare that went to waste. There wasn’t even an apology of sorts on the phone when the...

Ugh. Really waited to give this review, as I was hoping that the other reviews I read were not going to be the same experience for me..

I booked and did my class in July. I have been trying to pick up my pottery since then, and there has been no response. The one successful call I got, I was not free that day but they did say my pottery should still be available for pick up. I tried calling on other days again so i can come and no success. I did do a cold visit as calls were not being returned, but they were unable to find my pottery and told me to text and email them.. and sad to say, no response still.

I can't recommend this place due to the lack of communication just to figure out when you can pick something up. Seems like it's not always open, so I'm not sure why they haven't updated their hours listed. The package is to create a piece and pick it up for you to take home and they can't seem to do that. So...

My recent visit to Sandy Mones Pottery was a mixed experience that left me with conflicting emotions. The advertised time for our pottery session was an hour and a half, and while we still had plenty of time left, we found ourselves rushed out of our session. This unexpected haste took away from the otherwise enjoyable atmosphere. Despite the time constraint, the actual pottery experience was fun and engaging. The creative process and hands-on activity were a highlight, making it an enjoyable outing. However, the lack of labeling the pottery and clear instructions on how to pick up our finished items afterward left us feeling a bit disoriented. I do appreciate the overall effort put into creating a positive and creative environment. With some adjustments in managing session timings and providing clearer instructions the shop could enhance the overall customer experience. *Note to customers, arrive early to find parking!

I originally scheduled a pottery class for August 22nd and was notified the day before that they could not accommodate me and requested a reschedule which I agreed to. The following week I reached out-following their policy guidelines of a 48 hour notice for cancelation- as I unexpectedly got called into work and could not make the reschedule. They answered my email on August 27th for my August 29th class clarifying my need to cancel to which I responded in confirmation. I have yet to receive any refund or correspondence since then. I am providing photos of the multitude of emails I have sent since then and just this morning I called again to see if someone would answer and was promptly hung up on when I asked for a manager to rectify this. Now their lines are going straight to voicemail. This is extremely disappointing. Please do the right thing and process my refund.
