Extremely difficult to get in contact with this business without going there in person. I called to ask a few questions as I have a special needs toddler and don’t want to bring them to this theater, only for the theater to not be able to accommodate. Upon calling, you don’t even have the option to speak to someone. It’s an automated message giving show times, directions, and “answering” theater questions. Their website doesn’t have a phone number to talk to someone, just a contact form to “submit a request.” The confirmation email I received (if you can call it that) tells me to look at the website FAQs. Which I did, and naturally my questions aren’t answered.
Please make it more accessible for special needs families to be able to talk to a human there. It’s so frustrating not being able to speak to someone.
Edit: The immediate response I got from this company a few minutes ago was to fill out the contact form, which I have already stated in this review that I filled out. If someone could contact me from the information I provided on the form I filled out prior to this review,...
Read moreI went to see Bullet Train.
It was a Friday night and the projector was broken. Sat and ate my popcorn for 30 minutes in the dark waiting for the theatre to get it fixed.
They were as gracious as they could be and gave a free pass good for a year.
I returned Saturday. I waited until 5 minutes after the show was supposed to start before going to tell them that it wasn't running.
A few minutes later it started.
The projector froze 5 times during the film. I think the first two times we lost a few seconds of screen time. The last 3 times it definitely picked up where it left off. The last time was the longest, about a minute wondering if this was the one that would end the film. But it didn't. Fortunately the film worked the rest of the way.
Mentioned it to the staff after the film.
The seats were comfortable, the floor slightly sticky, The popcorn, on both visits, ok.
Without the projector issues I would have rated it 3.5 stars.... and...
Read moreI convinced my non-movie goer parents to go see the new Exorcist-believer on opening day for them to have the most awful experience. They showed up, excited, big bag of popcorn and drinks in hand with their pre-purchased tickets and to their dismay the movie, "isn't working, sorry". They were only offered refunds for their tickets, nothing else! First of all, what movie theater doesn't test the movies prior to their first showing? I get things happen but the awful customer service is enough to make the drive to Manhattan AMC that much easier. Fast forward, I contacted the company on their behalf and Jacob replied, "sorry for the inconvenience, but we cant refund concessions". So you charge 50% mark up, at least, for popcorn and soda but due to technical errors within your business I should take $25 movie concessions home to watch Thursday night football? Terrible customer service, at least at AMC they will get to enjoy their popcorn whilst in...
