Cheaply made product...DO NOT BUY!!

I've now had the same experience as many others on Amazon who have given this umbrella one star. I've had their umbrella for a total of 32 days (two days after I am able to return it to Amazon...great) and the pole just snapped in two at the table. I wasn't home at the time and it seems perfectly calm today so I can only guess we had a dust-up or something that blew it over (?) but I've had two other umbrellas and have not had this type of issue (the Arizona sun usually burns up the fabric long before anything else goes wrong. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed in this cheaply made product (unfortunately the price wasn't cheap... I contacted their customer service department and was told that their umbrellas are not covered for 'wind' damage. They did offer me a discount on a replacement pole but I decided that I didn't want to invest anymore in this umbrella just to have it fail again the next time an Arizona dust devil...

We bought a California Umbrella from the Fortunoff Backyard Store in June 2013. We paid $425 for an 11 ft. umbrella. We had it 9 months (brought inside during the winter) when a small gust of wind blew it right over and bent the frame. They replaced it but told me to put in a wooden dowel inside for added strength. It is made of aluminum. A HUGE umbrella with a flimsy material. Really? They replaced the umbrella and I kept the bent on in the basement (thank God). Today I put the replaced umbrella up and realized the pulley for the cable broke. Again, cheap plastic parts. I call the company, they have no replacement parts for another 2 months. So we took apart the bent umbrella and used the pulley from that one and fixed it. Very poor for an umbrella that is only 4 years old and has only been used in the...

Looking around I saw this location online and saw it was close by. I called them about placing an order and the person I talked to was very helpful. They even told me since I was local I can pick it up. I wait for the email and head over and the person at the front desk was very helpful and handed me my umbrella right away.

Everyone here is very nice.

When it came to the umbrella, I loved the color. I ordered a Jockey red cover, and it looks great. The Umbrella feels really durable, I think the frame is like a solid chunk of aluminum because it's a little heavy. Overall happy with my purchase. I'm still putting my Backyard together so I will update with a picture once...
