OK Corral Western Wear — Local services in Jurupa Valley

I purchased a pair of boots yesterday 08/07/2024, at the Mira Loma location. The lady who helped me out suggested a size 8.5 boot size with insoles. I purchased the boots. Once I got home and I tried them on again, I realized they were too big. I'm usually a size 7 or 7.5. The boots look and feel super big. None of the other boots in the store fit my calfs. Ana, the lady who helped me, said I can take them to a shoe cobbler and if they ended up not working out for me, I can take them back. She never mentioned that I wouldn't be getting my money back. Now they are telling me I can only get store credit or exchange. I can't get an exchange because none of the other boots fit. There are no signs anywhere inside or outside the store stating that they only do store credit and exchanges. Also, Ana the sales lady kept on pushing for boots that I didn't like, she kept adding or removing insoles to make the boot fit instead of just admitting they don't have the proper size. I went to the store the next day and the assossociate there called her on the phone, and she was very rude, she even screamed at me and hung up on me. Don't waste your time going to this store. There are other western wear stores near by with much better customer service. They don't care about their customers, they only care about making sales. If I could give 0...

Today I went to look for some boots. At the beginning I wasn't sure about buying them, but the owner started to assisting me with all my questions. She is well acknowledged and with a lot of experience so she guided me. At the end I'm more than happy with my purchase of my new pair of boots. Went in thinking I was going to support a local business. Since I saw a sombrero I liked on their website I went to check it out . To find out in store it was more expensive and they wouldn't even honor their price on their website or offer any discount. Poor customer service.
