I found El Panzon Chilango on Instagram last week on Sunday. My wife and I the foodies that we decided to try this place. The restaurant is decorated very nicely, and the customer service was great. Everyone was smiling and happy, and the customers seemed very pleased with their food. We ordered 2 machetes and 3 Huaraches with carne asada and one large horchata to go. We got home and couldn't wait to eat. The food was tasty. The green and red salsa were spicy but edible. The horchata was a little watered down. The beans on the huaraches were too watery, no beans just like bean water, which made the huaraches soggy and fall apart. But, my biggest complaint was the carne asada, It was more lard approximately 60% lard and 40% meat. I posted a picture of one of the Huaraches my wife picked through. We spent about 70$ bucks and even left a tip. It breaks my heart to criticize this little family style restaurant please guys take this constructive criticism...

It's a must try if you like México City style garnachas. The food is good. They do need to work on their customer service. Even tho we were the only ones there, the server dropped the first round of food without asking if we needed anything else. I had to get up and interrupted their conversation and asked for salsa utensils and an extra plate. Then she delivered the second round of food and totally forgot about us all of this with an empty restaurant. So be aware and believe all the reviews mentioning that when they are busy the service and wait it's very bad. Besides that, and if you are willing to wait and be forgotten, you should...

Great place to go eat at, I personally know the owner and she’s the greatest person in town. Her cooking as the chef of the restaurant is the best! Food is huge, portions are big and the best quality! The salsas are their greatest asset, it’s like being back in Mexico City.. I tried their carnitas yesterday Tacuba DF style and brother it was a bomb of flavors. Can’t wait to eat another carnitas taco, machete, the menudo is another thing to die for, the staff is so friendly. A Fonda style place. I...

We found this place through tik tok and decided to try since they were saying how good it was and it did look good. The food itself isn’t that great. The asada meat had a lot of nerve. It was more nerve than meat. On one of the machetes we ordered most of the asada meat was raw and super oily. We felt it was a little expensive for the amount they give you. It’s overhyped in my opinion. The only good thing is the staff. Super friendly and attentive.
