I used to be a frequent customer at Curaleaf formerly known as Herbology so I was excited when I came back the other day earlier this month and then turned around and made another trip almost two weeks later. I miss the old Herbology where the workers were nice and competent about selling to you. I will admit the first time back Emma was a joy to work with. But after being misquoted/mispriced about what I wanted to actually buy....imagine my surprise when it was less than what I repeated several times to the guy working that night and it was still incorrect. We talked to manager Jake and explained to him what happened and he emailed me my receipt and told me he would be in the next day and to come in and it would be fixed. It's not like I live down the road but instead of clearing everything up on the phone which takes SECONDS you wanted me to come back in and purchase what I should have already had if the cashier would have handled my order correctly. On top of that instead of acknowledging his mistake and saying my bad he never gave us an original receipt which was weird. I'm so glad that Jake told me I can go to whatever dispensary I want because I am going to take him up on that because it's not the same as people have stated in their reviews and it' more affordable go other places that will actually get it right. If they tell you they will fix anything....they won't. Go spend your money at other dispensaries. What a waste of my time today and I'll never support again.

ALWAYS HAVE THEM GIVE...

I've been thinking about this since Friday and I still don't know if it's weird to review a place you haven't actually been to, but house of dank being at Kalamazoo Pride and they way they were there was so impactful to me and this WILL be my new spot! Everyone knows dispensaries in Kalamazoo are like Starbucks in New York, there's one every corner. But with that being said only 2 dispensaries showed up to Pride. But house of dank didn't just show up, they showed out! They didn't try to use coupons or talk about how great their products/prices are to entice us to come shop with them. The 3 people representing house of dank talked about themselves and what it means to work for a company like house of dank. The 2 girls working talked about what it's like being women in the cannabis industry and how house of dank allows them to thrive knowing that their CEO and most leadership rolls are held by not just women, but also women of color! The manager that was with them also talked about what's it like to be gay in the cannabis industry and again how house of dank allows him to thrive and be his true authentic self. These 3 know, see, and believe in the work house of dank is doing. And whatever is in that kool-aid they have them drinking over there on Sprinkle Rd, I want some it! Cause I don't think the secret ingredient is cannabis, I think it's Love. The love that house of dank has for Michigan, the communities they are in, and their people. And thats why you should shop there. Stay High and Happy...
