Very organized. Most staff very welcoming & nice. Others are literally dismissive as if you are bothering them because they are very busy. Look around as there is a lot to see. LOOK-TWICE, I guarantee you will miss something interesting. Items not sold during a specific time period are reduced in Price. I got my item half price. Their inventory changes daily. So visit often. I visited 3 times this week & 3rd time was the charm. They have furniture, appliances, Lighting: Lamps, Shades, Globes, chandeliers, light bulbs (old fashioned & LED). They have doors, windows, plumbing, tools, Misc... Bed frames big & small & Gigantic. KItchenware, tables & chairs, microwaves, Vacuum Cleaners… the list goes on & on. All items are highly organized & in specific areas of the store. Be very sure you go to the back and into the lot behind the store. There are interesting items out there also. This is a well maintained Thrift Store and proceeds help those in-our-community have a home thru Habitat-For-Humanity. Former President 'Jimmy Carter' helped by adding his Time, Construction Skills & Wealth to Habitat For Humanity building "Affordable Homes" for people that are not financially Wealthy. Just look anywhere USA and you will find that housing has become a National Priority Issue. Our great Capitalistic Society has been hijacked by INFLATION & GREED. Rentals have long waiting lists & Homes have outpriced the Man-on-the-Street. Gone are the days when your lease expires you can move the same day into another Complex. It is Maddness & Chaos. I was on waiting lists for over a year. It is not possible to plan a move that matches your lease expiration date. Lease expires, you must move because Landlord raised Rent another $300 or more. Move-out but where do you move to, your on 28 waiting lists but not even close to the Top-of-the-List. You better have family or good friends to reach out to so you have a place to stay while waiting for a place on a list. Next you get a call that your next on-the-list and the apartment unit is not up to standard when you arrive. CIRCUMSTANCES force you to sign the lease anyway. It is now a time for Landlords to get away with substandard maintenance because they know that you know there is no other place to go. Inflation & Greed. Habitat-For-Humanity helps Families get out of that Inflation & Greed 'Race. I count Habitat-For-Humanity as high, high on the Ladder (Lists) of those Charitable Organizations that directly gives back to our Communities. Every purchase from your local Restore Resale business helps others in the best way possible… A place to...
Read moreUp until about 7 or 8 months ago, I would come into the ReStore 2-3 times a week. They had the friendliest and most comfortable atmosphere that I've ever experienced really in any other business. Also, in that last 2 plus year span, they had started receiving incredible donations from both businesses and the community! The prices were usually very reasonable, and they had awesome sales and events. I was very disappointed when I heard the board of directors fired the last ReStore manager because of a new and (still) unproven executive director. After speaking with fellow shoppers and members of the staff, it's clear that the magic I had been seeing those last couple of years was due in large part to Jesse's leadership, his incredible business acumen, and his love for Habitat and our community. I kept quiet until now but after going in last Friday and seeing the huge decline in the amount and quality of their inventory, not to mention morale, I just feel sad and angry that a board of directors would basically take the wheel from someone who I was told had broke almost every sales record and was substantially growing this communities affiliate and drive them off a cliff. They should be embarrassed and disgusted with themselves. I know plenty of people in the...
Read moreSo I am a little disappointed in this store. I would like to share that I have donated a washing machine and dryer along with other household items in the past to restore because I believe in their cause. Unfortunately after wandering around the store and outbuildings I realized they have most items price barely below brand new prices. So someone who is trying to upgrade/make improvements to their home On a budget are not really benefiting from our donated items that don’t have prices that would save the average person too much money. On top of that the items don’t leave the shelf fast so things are piling up and making this place look like an over priced junk store. Our donations are not selling very fast gaining the money in a timely manner to turn it the donation to help people who need assistance. Drop the prices, move the merchandise and help everyone out from the assisted person receiving help from habitat for humanity to the consumer who cannot afford shopping for...
