🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢 I'm not sure why this is as highly rated as it is... if you're strictly into drinking and hanging at a bar, this may be okay for you. But if you're looking for a good meal and friendly atmosphere for you and your family, keep driving. There are a ton of other places to choose from. Our server seemed irritated the entire time, as if we were an inconvenience to her. Two of my kids had the steak and said it was "very mid." I had the chicken nachos, and the chunks of chicken were HUGE and not practical for having on nachos. One of my kids ordered the fish and chips, and the server brought it to her saying "you're one piece short, we'll have the extra piece out shortly," and guess what? Not only did we not see the piece of fish that was owed, but we didn't even see the server again until she was bringing the bill. Rather than get into a dispute about it, I simply deducted it from her tip. Also, the table and chairs were sticky and gross. It was an all-around bad experience, and I HIGHLY recommend you skip this...
Read moreFirst time dining at the Dusty Star Saloon. Formally Scotty's Bar, we decided to find out what this new smokehouse had to offer. The brisket was superb. I can honestly say...this was one of two of the best smoked briskets in the Flathead valley! The brisket was juicy, not dried out. It had a nice bark, great smoke flavor with a melt-in-your-mouth texture! I highly recommend this item. I also had the spicy andouillie sausage, Mexican corn salad, and battered fries! The Mexican corn was good, the fries couldn't be better if I cooked them myself! My friends had the brisket, smoked chicken, a big mess sandwich, cornbread, and coleslaw. Everyone raved about the brisket...so if your a brisket fan...check this place out! I have got to try the cornbread! The only complaint I have is that it was cold inside. Our server was excellent! Got our order to us fast, checked on us several times to make sure our order was correct and our glasses were full and that our dining...
Read morean honest, review with no animosity, ( low hanging fruit for ownership), 1. do not charge $16 for an overcooked, frozen, dry burger when you dont even toast the bun. hint: use real butter if you do. 2. stop using frozen corn, it tastes like plastic and chefs know the difference. 3. flush the tap lines again. last time didnt do the trick. 4. wings are good, tip: brine longer before smoking. and MAKE YOUR OWN BLEU CHEESE! its super easy and tastes better than the premade chemical grossness. Cleanliness is high, A+ ...keep it that way.
Note: I offer these critiques so we have better quality food and experiences in our amazing valley, not to disparage the establishment or insult the operation. Remember its about feeding people quality food so we live long enough to go and enjoy life. Be picky and be proud Montanans! Say NO to more corporate...
