AesthetiCare Medspa + Wellness — Local services in Kansas City

For anyone out there looking for an amazing place to have any aesthetics done, there is not a medspa anywhere I’m convinced that is better than AesthetiCare. It is the most innovative medspa in a four state area that has the most knowledgeable staff and are just amazing. I would NEVER go anywhere else. I have been coming here for many years now and have had Botox microlaser peel, profractional laser, and halo, with Judy who is wonderful, I’ve had cool sculpting and emsculpt with Jessica, who is absolutely fabulous, Would recommend to anyone before summer:) I’ve had scleroderma for my veins with Ardeth who also does an amazing job, I’ve had Diva with Meredith who I absolutely love and have had the greatest results ever and I have had several facials with Lucinda, also one of the best!!!!! I have had amazing results from everything I’ve had done here and all of the staff here are great. Front desk Lisa, Elisa, and Andrea are so sweet and helpful in getting scheduled and answering questions and they always greet me with a smile and say thank you I’ve noticed with all of the clients. Rick the manager is the Absolute best as well. Has spoken with me about all of the different treatments vs results and have been very thorough with their education before a procedure. I also have the pleasure of knowing the owners Matt and Kathy Taranto and have watched them grow this amazing business that they are always in trainings and finding the most up to date lasers and equipment available. I cannot say enough good things about this business. If there is anything you are considering having done, they will get you in for a complete free evaluation and educate you on options. Thank you so much for what you do here, you have made the absolute biggest difference in the way I feel about myself and my skin, you all should be proud of the difference you are making in peoples lives...

Overview: Original Treatment back in late May Purchased stomach & love handles – I work out 5 days a week and eat relatively healthy, but due to genetics I hold a lot of access fat in those areas. Treatment went fine, Jessica is very informative and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I was told that someone would follow up with me to schedule my follow up appt to take “after” pics and discuss my results. 3 Months pass and I did not hear from anyone at AesthetiCare – nor did I see any significant results. My sides went in a bit, but my stomach was just as present. Disgruntled with the lack of communication and results, I wrote my review which I originally gave 2 stars.

Update: After I wrote my review, I received a call from the owner of AesthetiCare. He asked if I wouldn’t mind coming in and discussing my experience. After going in and discussing my experience, I was offered 2 free treatments to maximize my results (I have a feeling they will say they only offered one... but I have the voicemail that says two) I have gone in for 1 out of 2 free treatments so far and have received a call back from the owner and Jessica – which I greatly appreciated. Results wise, I have yet to see 3k worth of results... but I know that for each person this works differently. I may just have a very stubborn stomach. Because of the staff at AesthetiCare following up and remedying the situation, I have increased my review to 3 stars. However, I do not believe it deserves more than that due to the results thus far.

I’ve been going to AesthetiCare Medspa for about 12 years and have tried several treatments, all of which have provided great results for my skin and body. Jennifer is the best and never steers me wrong when I tell her about my ‘problem’ areas and ask what she would recommend. Recently I tried the new Emsculpt Neo. Once again I was not disappointed! We treated my abdomen and I wasn’t sure what to expect. The paddle is placed on your treatment area and during the 30 minute session it goes thru a tapping sensation and a deep muscle contraction sensation. She started me at a low range for my first session and we slowly increased the intensity from 25 to 30 and by the end I was at a 40. I was able to relax and allow the machine to work its magic. I walked away from my first treatment feeling like my abs had been thru a tough workout, a little sore, but my core felt tight. My second treatment session as 6 days later. We started the intensity level at 40, where I left off, but quickly moved up and by the end was at an 80! After this treatment I could see definition in my abdomen and my core felt incredibly strong. When we workout on our own we can only work 30% of our muscles but the Emsculpt Neo can work 90%! I highly recommend trying this if you have a stubborn area you want to tone up. This would also be a treatment to do before a big event, a vacation, etc., when you want to feel and look stronger.
