KC small business owners (this is not our business account) however, we own a KC business almost 4x the size of this business. - also 5 star review on almost 4x the reviews.
We make handmade products that we have exclusive rights to manufacture, our trademark. We made the FIRST OF ITS KIND AND OWN RIGHTS
We called this shop this morning and asked the Lady who answered if she could help connect us to the Amish communities they work with so we could network. - which, we absolutely will be regardless of the kindness in her heart.
The lady instantly assumed we were running some Amish jelly/jams shop as well and competition.
She said in a snobby tone, "We have spent many years sourcing and finding our products and told me to look myself." HANGS UP ON ME
WOWIE - safe to say this store is NOT Amish Christian family operated (as I thought it may be) because they would NEVER treat someone like that but also, if they were me, I would be pretty upset that we had a business relationship and you cut them off from another potential customer running a business that, I'm sorry, YOUR SHOP CAN'T LEGALLY KNOCK OFF OUR PRODUCTS, Understand?
We have also spent many years building our business as well.
AND NO. WE'RE NOT SELLING OR INTRESTED IN SELLING ANYTHING YOU SELL AND FOR THE RECORD, YOU CAN'T LEGALLY MAKE AND SELL OUR PRODUCTS ANYWAYS LADY!
I don't know how you could possibly be taking phone calls like that with 5 stars.
All I've got to say is that it's incredible the 'front' that some businesses put on. Selling handmade Christian goods and...
Read moreI came into the store with my service dog wearing a clearly visible vest. She said no dogs allowed. I said hes a service dog. She asked if I had papers. I said I'm not required to have papers but handed her a card that said what she is legally allowed to ask. She asked what his task was & I freely shared with her. I went to get my 2 items I came for returned back only to hear her talking badly about me. I explained that there are different types of service animals & they could look online. She asked where he was trained & I refused to answer the question because that is not something they needed to know. She & the gentleman both argued with me telling me it does matter where my service dog was trained. She then said if my dog bit someone then she would get sued. I told her my dog doesn't even bark. I will not shop here anymore & if I had seen the way they treated me i wouldn't shop there again either! However the Walnut Creek vanilla peaches are...
Read moreShopped from Tami originally at her Dad’s shop. Followed her to Woodyard 16 years ago and loved when she made this lovely shop next to the country Western store. Perfect old time Market vibe with everything fresh fruits, veggies, canned, pickled, jams, jellies, honey, candies, deli, Awesome Chili, sandwiches to eat in cafe or carry-out, plants, flowers seasonal, fun shabby sheik and ornamental decorations for the home (found some my favorite things here) garden stands, candelabras, and on and on. Always decorated cute. Tami puts a lot of time making her shop the perfect spot to stop and connect. Tami treats her patrons as family friends. She knows all about my family and welcomes me and my kids with warm hugs every time we stop. Go see Tami at The Peddlers Daughter. Don’t forget to Honk and wave...
