Tarahumara Mexican — Restaurant in Kansas City

I'm having a REALLY hard time understanding the rave reviews of this place. My office has been doing the KCK Taco Trail and this was BY FAR the worst place we have eaten. We placed a group order on Menufy, which lists each persons name and individual order. They didn't bother writing the names on the boxes, so we had to touch every order to figure out who had what. Then, they mispackaged the orders and combined wrong items together. They forgot 2 orders entirely. (There was not one other person in line, so being busy is no excuse. I also placed the order an hour ahead of time, so they had plenty of time to get it right.) The tostadas were packed in the same box with rice and beans so they were submerged completely into the beans, rendering it inedible, soggy and gross. The food itself was also subpar. I was excited about the enchiladas given the rave reviews, but it was so bland and generic it could have come from Taco Bell. One of my co-workers ordered the fajita burrito and threw half of it away. Out of the 10 orders we placed, not one of us enjoyed our lunch. The only items that were halfway good were the guac (needed salt), rice and salsa. It pains me to leave a bad review b/c we've loved doing the Taco Trail and supporting small businesses. This place was the worst experience that I have ever experienced in 60 years. The owners we very rude when they did not make was I had ordered and paid for. I have never been so humiliated in all my life. Please do not every enter this established since no human being should have to experience the worst customer experience we have ever had. There was 3 of us and none of us could hardly eat any of it. It was a major struggle to get anything refunded and they did not return my credit card another so customer got it for me and returned it so thankful that another customer stepped up so they did not keep my credit card. Our order was almost $18 with no drinks and we ended going to taco bell for $9 for all 3 of us plus drinks and had great customer service. Just letting everyone know about the horrible customer service and the food was so expensive and was horrible as well. I even told the owner that I would post on social media and he acted like a little kid and said he was so scared. What owner acts like this to a paying customer? The food is authentic and really good. The young lady who took my order was very polite. I'm only giving 3 stars because the service is really slow. I sat in the drive through for 5 full min or longer and one person noticed me but never acknowledged me or took my order probably because she was the only one working in the kitchen! I had to park and go into the restaurant. It was around 1:30 pm after the noon rush but since only one person was cooking and there were several people waiting and more coming in it took over 30 min to order and wait for the food. That leaves little time to eat it. If they add another cook or two around their busiest times of the day, I'll frequent more often! The food is that good!! I only wish the service...
