The tech Cintron was on time and explained all that he was going to do, went upstairs and checked both units out. And as usual took care of the ac drains with some supplied bleach. Then checked the outside units and both were fine he pointed out to periodically rinse the units down. Also recommended a uv system for allergies etc explaining how it worked, I told him I would think about it. Very satisfied.

I didn’t know if I had to do a new review or edit my last one. I didn’t look like I could do a new one. Jeremy was the tech they sent out and as usual he was prompt on arrival. I had an issue with my nest thermostat wire upstairs. He managed to fix that very quickly and there was no charge because I’m on the service plan. I’m very happy with the service. I’ve had Jeremy here before, and he’s very professional.

Jeremy did great job on heater maintenance as usual and found some plugged ac drain lines that he repaired. Great job as usual

Michael Lu was my tech today and as usual, he came ready to get started right away. Took care of my maintenance on the heating equipment and did as usual a great job. Looked over the AC units. Everything seem to be working fine. I had a problem getting into my attic, but Michael even helped me get that resolved. As usual did a great job and I’m very happy with it.

Eduardo was my tech today and came in ready to start. Did a great job on the inside and outside of the air conditioning units and pointed out a few things that he took care of. I don’t remember having him before, but he knew precisely what he was doing. Took care of everything and we were very happy.

Jeremy Woods and Rudy Allen were my 2 techs on June 13 and 14. I had a sudden problem on Friday the 13th with my downstairs unit went cold with ice in the unit and was fearing a freon leak or worse. Jeremy came out within a few hours and found that the furnace blower had gone bad. Thanks to their vip service program they found a replacement and somehow got the new blower here the following day at 10 o’clock in the morning. Rudy Alan was the tech that came on the following day and he got the blower installed in less than an hour and the house went cool again. Our house central AC system failed during the hot season here in TX, and we decide to call ‘One Call Houston AC’ (Also known as ‘Air Tech of Katy’), as they have a 24h emergency service and sure enough one of the technicians, -Peter Martinez- showed up at our house even at that late night time. He checked the unit and took pics and videos, and diagnosed a leak in the evaporator, and recommended its replacement. He filled a report, and send the quote with the fix straight at the same time of the diagnoses providing a few options to consider. We called and consulted other AC company before deciding, and they came up with the same cause, but they were certainly a lot less efficient in providing quotes and alternatives fast, suggesting only a full unit replacement ($$$$) as they didn’t want to use different brand (the one faulty was known to be defective and no longer offered as replacement by its manufacturer). So, we called Peter, and he was very accommodating to schedule a replacement (with a different 1st tier brand part) very fast, as they have parts in inventory readily available. He also returned to our home next day and refilled with refrigerant so we had our AC back (even though as temporary relief) until the replacement of the part was completed (which was done two days later). He actually quoted and installed an improved evaporator unit, and showed up after the replacement to verify and check the job done by the installers. I like to note that this company is flexible to cover the cost of the fix, as it also offered me options to pay the job in parts -with no interest- in case you need to finance the repair -which I didn’t-. But we decided to subscribe to the program for regular maintenance with this company as they’re fast, honest and provide fixing options in case of a failure. Peter was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and focused in providing solutions and getting things done fast, with professionalism and using only top tier brands for parts and a quality, providing peace of mind with the job performed and assuring that it will last. 4/27/20 I had a 25 year old system that needed replacing. I wanted to go up on the size of the unit. Initially I only wanted the outside unit, but after calling three different companies, I decided to replace the entire system. Chad came out in the window that was promised. He observed the social distancing rules and wore a mask and gloves. He asked what I wanted when the system was installed. I said I like it cold! Chad walked the rooms that this system was on and noted the old system was working at its maximum to keep rooms cool. He inspected system in attic and went to his truck to work out three different proposals, as per my request. After he gave me the quotes he went back to his truck to give me and my wife time to review bid. After about 10 minutes he knocked on door to answer our questions. I was still waiting on bids so I did not make any arrangements to start. Chad respected my process and when I did agree several days later they were ready to install.

On install day Chad introduced me to his foreman and the rest of the crew. They were all wearing masks and gloves. They started around 9:30 and pulled the old system and installed the new system. The crew worked hard and efficiently. They put cloth walkways down to avoid scratching out floors. I took pictures throughout the process and they were not bothered by my random pictures! They finished the job about 4:00 pm.

The installed system and duct work delivered the requested cool comfort that a large man like me enjoys! My wife is not constantly cold, but that was expected! The whole house is cooling better now that this new system was installed. I appreciate Chad and his team from Absolute Comfort. Chad has scheduled a date in mid May to check to see what adjustments might need to be made and to get our feedback. I picked Absolute Comfort because I listen to Tom Tynan, but I was sold by their professionalism and promptness! As of today I highly recommend Chad and the Absolute Comfort team.
