The Katchi Plate from Brezee’s Kauai is finally back — and let me tell you, this one is BROKE DA MOUTH! 🤤🔥 You can catch them at the Kauai Veterans Center every Thursday & Saturday from 10 AM until sellout. But here’s my tip — go early! This was my third try before finally getting my hands on it because they sell out FAST. That’s how you know it’s the real deal. 🙌 When I say this plate is loaded… I mean LOADED. It’s honestly enough to feed three people, no joke. You get a massive pastele sitting on fluffy gandule rice, a heaping scoop of rich and savory dioja stew, fresh bacalomi salad for that salty, refreshing bite, and creamy mac salad to round it all out. Every bite was pure flavor heaven. 🌺💛 The combination of the tender pastele, the hearty stew, and all the sides just hit different — the kind of food that makes gives you kanak attack. This is comfort food, island-style, at its absolute best. And if you can’t get enough of their pastele (trust me, you won’t), they also sell frozen packs so you can take some home and enjoy later! 🙌 If you’re visiting Kauai (or even if you live here) and haven’t tried Brezee’s Kauai yet, you are seriously missing out. Probably the most under-rated thing to do on the island. They have an AMAZING assortment of military historia contributed mostly by local veterans. Excellent exhibit of war loot brought back from WWII, including some pretty rare Japanese rifles with proof marks intact. Also includes personal items of Eric Shinseki, born and raised Kauai who went on to become Army Chief of Staff and Head of Veterans Affairs. And a plus, it's air...

I come here to attend Hope Collective. This place has everything you’d need to host an event and is well kept and clean. There is a lot of military history and ample space for a variety of uses. Lots of parking, clean bathrooms, kitchen area, etc…. I’m unsure if you can stop by to see the historic info, but it is cool to learn about it all. There is also a jet and tank outside for...
