My salesman Ken was a god send to me and my family. I had a full knee replacement just days prior to visiting your store. My previous recliner had just broken beyond repair. The degenerative discs in my back and need for constant ice and elevation of my right leg made it impossible to sleep in bed. Keny was personable, attentive, caring, thoughtful, and considerate. I appreciated his sense of humor, product knowledge, and willingness to not just sell a piece of furniture that looks great in our living space but something that (being a larger man) met our needs as well a piece that will also aid in my recovery from surgery. I haven't slept this well in months. I can't say enough about what a pleasant experience this was amidst the turmoil going on in my life at this time. Mr. Rodriquez is the type of individual that instills my faith in humanity and I wish there were more people like him in this world. Slumberland is the worst furniture store to buy from. Had a horrible experience 2 years ago at the Grand Island store where I spent over $10,000 dollars. An had to return scratched an gouged furniture 3 times. Manager said scratches are to be expected umm no not on new furniture. Very rude staff. My husband talked me into buying from Kerney slumberland saying let's give them a second chance. Never ever again. Bought a loveseat an 2 recliners. 2-3 weeks before memorial day. Paid for delivery. But got tired of waiting so drove 45 min there an 45 min back to pick up 2 recliners an get home to find one is the wrong color. They would not come get wrong chair until they delivered love seat so we had to have this huge box in our shed that we had to fight to get around for lawnmower and etc. Called tonight to see where my other chair is an it's sitting in the distribution center due to they don't want to bring it until July 10. I bought a sectional couch today at Slumberland Furniture in Kearney, Nebraska. I had been in to look at the couch several times already. This was my first experience working with Sales Professional Matt Kollars. He is an exceptionally good Salesperson. He was present and available, and knowledgeable in answering my questions, but he also gave me the space to contemplate and decision-make without feeling like he was hovering or pressuring me. He was the consummate Salesperson. The couch is made by a company called Bauhaus, that is based in Mississippi. In my research it appears that they manufacture the furniture in the U.S., which is important to me. It is part of the Rise furniture collection.
