Our SMEG dishwasher did not work when it came. We contacted the warranty folks, and they said they found someone to service it. They sent the part that was anticipated would fix it to a local company that no longer worked with SMEG. Indeed, they couldn't find anyone local to us who worked on SMEG. In the end, the local company shipped us the part, SMEG issued us a full refund, and we ended up finding someone local who could install it. The dishwasher works! Would have loved if it worked sooner.
We also got a fridge and an induction stove. The stove is great but the burner areas are a bit small, and the oven is still outgassing a bit. The fridge can make a bit of a tinnitus whine when it's cooling. Otherwise, pretty pleased. We do love our SMEG coffee maker and tea kettle, which inspired us to get their other appliances in the...

I have a bunch of them SMEG equipments. toaster, coffee machine, mini fridge, standmixer, handheld mixers, citrus juicer, even cookware! I have them for about 3 yrs now and I use them regularly, especially my standmixer and handheld mixers. The standmixer is my favorite, it’s friendly-user and heavy-duty, I can tell because I bake & cook all the time.
I never had issues with them except for when I mistakenly submerged my handheld mixer in water! Fortunately tho the service department was very kind and quick to replace them at no additional cost! Can’t wait to get my hands on more SMEG appliances soon! French door fridge next...
Read moreThe associate at Smeg I was working with, Stephanie Nazario, could not have been more helpful. It was their service company, Adco Services that were the issue. They asked a few times for information they already had, were not very communicative and I had to push all through the process to get them to send me a replacement. They told me it would take 2 weeks to get tracking information, which never happened, so I had to follow up, even though the replacement had been approved by Smeg. Finally, they sent me the replacement but it took about a month total, and that was after me following up. For the cost of this kettle, it is disappointing that, first of all there would even be problems after only 18 months, but to then have people dragging their feet was really...
