I am starting here and this will be taken up with corporate I have been going to this Freco y más . Which was Winn Dixie for over 20 years . I live in Hammocks which wasn’t the getto when I purchased a home 24 years ago. I don’t know who the GM is at this location. The employees are running the store. I am the only one of my neighbors that still goes to this location. Due to the lack of respect from these employees . I had a young heavy set man . Looking in a small Navarro bag I had to see if there was anything in it . I buy cat food every week so I go to Navarro first . So I don’t have to after with 24 cans of cat food and 12 or more pounds of dry food . As I was self checking out . There was a Hispanic girl and a black girl standing watching me to the point they were speaking to someone else but eyes were on. Me . While the heavy set boy was behind me looking in the small bag I Had on the cart from Navarro . I turned and caught him say no to them . As in no she does not have anything. The black girl was very rude towards me as I said what are you all looking for ? She proceeded to say that that is there job . So there job is to look inside my personal items . She said it’s there job if I don’t like it maybe I shouldn’t go there anymore. While the other girl smiled the Hispanic girl . The heavy set young man . Ran out in shame cause he knew I caught him. . As he also appears to act like he is a manager . He has charged his friends at the Podium register while the line has been to long and skipped everyone . Mind you I could not find a working cart cause they were all in the parking lot all over the place . The ones that were there were full of trash . I had to empty out one cart full of garbage into another cart to be able to shop . All 4 employees cause there is another young man that is extremely cocky too that I did not see tonight with black hair . Are the reason your location is losing sales . Either get rid of them or teach them customer service . What I don’t understand is why I am treated in such an ugly manner ? There are so many people that go there . Is it because I look different? Is it because I’m not Spanish ? I will let you know that this is not the first time I go through this there . Purchasing cat food . I had a $10 off $50 I was so upset I left it and did not use it . I will not be returning to this location until those entitled children leave or get fired . In reality it is the GM fault for allowing them to do and treat customers as they please . This is why the generation that has followed are the way they are . First /second job learning lack of respect not valuing there jobs, customers and no work ethics . The store is filthy . Deli food is good and cheap, but most of the employees are more interested in talking amongst themselves than actually helping customers. I was finally helped after standing at the counter watching the lady stand in the back and talk to another employee for a good 5-10 minutes, she would glance in the direction of the ever growing line every few minutes then continue her apparently much more interesting conversation. Then while trying to pay I gave another employee a $20 but she'd accidentally put $40 in the total and pressed enter. Realizing her mistake she froze and had no idea what to do. I had to tell her what my change should be, she had no idea how to calculate it without the machine telling her what to do. I work in the shopping center and was trying to hurry back to my store before we opened, I almost had to just leave without the food because it was taking so long for employee #1 to wrap up her super important conversation. If my employees were treating customers like this they wouldn't have a job much longer if it continued......

Horrible customer service, I just left there, the lady cashier had a thing with the other guy cashier, I told her good night, no response, before I got to the register, she was helping a co worker buy some beer so she rung him up before the line of customers waiting for her, she was screaming across the registers talking to the other cashier, right as I left, she went straight to playing on her phone. This store is so crappy, one day I bought a lone Jupiña and they charged me for an entire six pack. The cashiers a lot of times up charge you on the vegetables, i.e. organic broccoli price instead the product you're buying, regular broccoli. Being charged the wrong price for vegetables has happened to me multiple times at this store. And like I said, they never charge you a cheaper price, they always err on the higher side.
